पंतनगर : गोविंद बल्लभ पंत कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विवि की बड़ी मार्केट के स्टूडियो में आग लगने से लाखों रुपये का सामान जलकर राख हो गया। सूचना मिलने के बाद मौके पर पहुंचे अग्निशमन कर्मियों ने किसी तरह आग पर काबू पाया। आग लगने के दौरान काफी अफरा-तफरी का माहौल रहा। हालांकि कारणों का पता नहीं चल सका है। आग से हुए नुकसान का आकलन किया जा रहा है।
रुद्रपुर निवासी निखिल की पन्त विवि की बड़ी मार्केट में केबी स्टूडियो नाम शॉप है। रोजाना की तरह वह गुरुवार शाम को स्टूडियो बन्द कर घर चले आए। शक्रवार सुबह करीब नौ बजे स्टूडियो से धुआं उठता देख आसपास के लोगों ने निखिल को फोन पर सूचना दी। सूचना पर अग्निशमन अधिकारी सिडकुल पंतनगर इशम सिंह कर्मियों के साथ बड़ी मार्केट पहुंच गए।
तीन अग्निशमन वाहनों के साथ इशम सिंह आग बुझाने में जुट गए। जब तक कर्मियों ने आग पर काबू पाया तब तक स्टूडियो में छह कैमरे, तीन कप्यूटर, तीन प्रिंटर सहित लाखों रुपये का सामान जल चुका था। अग्निशमन अधिकारी इशम ने बताया कि शाट सर्किट से आग लगी थी। मामले की जांच की जा रही है। निखिल ने बताया कि लाखों रुपये का सामान जलकर राख हो गया है।
