देहरादून : दस्यू सुंदरी फूलन देवी के हत्‍यारोपी शेर सिंह राणा पर बन रही बायोपिक विवादों से घिर गई है। शेर सिंह राणा की बायोपिक में शीर्षक किरदार अभिनेता विद्युत जाम्वाल निभा रहे हैं। जब से विद्युत जाम्वाल ने बायोपिक की घोषणा की है, तभी से यह बायोपिक विवादों में आ गई है।

उत्‍तराखंड के खास नाता

वहीं शेर सिंह राणा का उत्‍तराखंड के खास नाता है। शेर सिंह राणा का असली नाम पंकज सिंह पुंढीर है और उसका जन्म 17 मई 1976 को उत्तराखंड के रुड़की में हुआ था।

शेर सिंह राणा को आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई थी

गौरतलब है कि 25 जुलाई 2001 को दिल्ली में शेर सिंह राणा ने सपा सांसद फूलन देवी की गोलियों से भूनकर हत्या कर दी थी। हत्या के मामले में दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने 2014 में दोषी मानते हुए शेर सिंह राणा को आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई थी, जबकि उसके तीन दोस्तों को बरी कर दिया था। इसी अदालत से शेर सिंह राणा को वर्ष 2017 में जमानत दी थी। वर्ष 2019 में शेर सिंह ने अपनी पार्टी राष्ट्रवादी जनलोक पार्टी का गठन कर लिया।

मध्य प्रदेश के छत्रपुर जिले के बड़ा मलहरा विधानसभा सीट से वर्ष 2008 में विधायक रहे राणा प्रताप सिंह की बेटी प्रतिमा राणा से शेर सिंह राणा ने शादी रचाई है।

पृथ्वीराज चौहान की अस्थियों को वापस लाने का दावा किया

शेर सिंह राणा ने दावा किया था कि अफगानिस्तान के गजनी इलाके में पृथ्वीराज चौहान की रखी अस्थियों को वह भारत वापस लाए। इसके लिए फरारी के बाद उसने सबसे पहले रांची से फर्जी पासपोर्ट बनवाया।

नेपाल, बांग्लादेश, दुबई होते हुए अफगानिस्तान पहुंचा और जान जोखिम में डालकर 2005 में अस्थियां भारत लेकर आया। अपनी बात को प्रमाणित करने के लिए राणा ने पूरे घटनाक्रम की वीडियो भी बनाई। बाद में राणा ने अपनी मां की मदद से गाजियाबाद के पिलखुआ में पृथ्वीराज चौहान का मंदिर बनवाया, जहां पर उनकी अस्थियां रखी गईं।

यह था मामला

यूपी के मिर्जापुर लोकसभा क्षेत्र से सपा सांसद 37 वर्षीय फूलन देवी की 25 जुलाई, 2001 को तीन नकाबपोश व्यक्तियों ने गोली मार कर हत्या कर दी थी। मामले में दिल्ली पुलिस ने 12 लोगों के खिलाफ आरोपपत्र दायर किया था। आरोप था कि 1981 में फूलन देवी ने बेहमई क्षेत्र में 20 ठाकुरों को लाइन में खड़ा कर गोलियों से भून दिया था। उनमें से कुछ शेर सिंह राणा के रिश्तेदार थे। इसी का बदला लेने के लिए फूलन देवी की हत्या की गई।
