देहरादून : मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास से एचडीएफसी बैंक की आठ शाखाओं का वर्चुअल शुभारंभ किया। उत्तराखंड में एचडीएफसी बैंक की नई आठ शाखाएं खोली गई हैं। इनमें जीएमएस रोड, देहरादून,राजेन्द्र नगर, देहरादून, मोथोरोवाला देहरादून, काशीपुर, ऊधमसिंह नगर, रामनगर, रूड़की, मंगलौर, लालकुआं, नैनीताल और ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर, नैनीताल शाखा शामिल हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने इस दौरान कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार का उद्देश्य सरलीकरण, समाधान, निस्तारण और संतुष्टिकरण के तहत दूर सुदूर गांवों में लोगों को बेहतर सुविधाएं प्रदान करना है। उत्तराखंड में एचडीएफसी बैंक की वर्तमान में 80 से अधिक शाखाएं संचालित हैं, जिसके माध्यम से प्रदेश के निवासियों को बेहतर बैंकिंग सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि बैंकों को प्रयास करना चाहिए कि लोगों को बैंकिंग के क्षेत्र में सुविधाएं सुगमता से मिले। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस तरह रूस-यूक्रेन के बीच चल रहे युद्ध के कारण मास्टर कार्ड बंद होने से असुविधाओं का सामना करना पड़ा, वहीं भारत का रूपे कार्ड काम आया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि परमार्थ आश्रम, ऋषिकेश के परमाध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानंद सरस्वती के मार्गदर्शन में एचडीएफसी बैंक की ओर से 1.5 लाख पौधे उत्तराखंड में लगाने का निर्णय सराहनीय कार्य है।
