देहरादून : भीषण गर्मी के बीच उत्तराखंड के जंगलों के धधकने का सिलसिला जारी है। पहाड़ों पर पिछले तीन दिन से कई स्थानों पर लगातार आग सुलग रही है। लैंसडौन में विकराल हुई आग पर काबू पाने में वन विभाग के तमाम प्रयास नाकाफी साबित हुए हैं।

बीते 24 घंटे में प्रदेश में 78 नई घटनाएं दर्ज की गईं, जिनमें करीब 113 हेक्टेयर वन क्षेत्र को नुकसान पहुंचा है। इसी के साथ फायर सीजन में अब तक 799 घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं। जिनमें कुल 1133 हेक्टेयर वन क्षेत्र प्रभावित हुआ है। इसमें लाखों की वन संपदा का नुकसान होने का अनुमान है।

पौड़ी जिले के तहत लैंसडौन व दुगड्डा रेंजों में पिछले दस दिनों में कई जंगल आग की चपेट में आकर राख हो गए हैं। हालांकि, प्रभाग की कोटड़ी रेंज में अभी तक जंगल में आग की एक भी घटना प्रकाश में नहीं आई है।

जबकि कोटद्वार रेंज की गुलरझाला बीट में दो घटनाएं अभी तक सामने आई हैं। वहीं, लालढांग रेंज में अभी तक छह घटनाएं हुई हैं। दुगड्डा रेंज की फतेहपुर बीट में जहां अभी तक जंगल की आग की छह घटनाएं हुई हैं, मटियाली बीट में 22 घटनाएं प्रकाश में आई हैं।

उधर, दो दिनों से उत्तरकाशी जनपद के जंगल जल रहे हैं। उत्तरकाशी जिला मुख्यालय से लेकर टौंस वन प्रभाग के जंगल भी धू-धू कर जल रहे हैं। मंगलवार रात जिले में 10 से अधिक स्थानों पर जंगलों में आग लगी हुई थी।

महिडाडा रोड, तेखला, गुफियारा, नालूपानी, धरासू बैंड, पटारा में आग लगी। इसके अलावा टौंस वन प्रभाग के पुरोला रेंज के अंतर्गत चंदेली, मखना, देवढूंग, पुजेली व कुमोला के जंगलों में जगह-जगह आग सुलग गई। वन विभाग के साथ वन पंचायत व ग्रामीणों ने आग बुझाने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन आग पर काबू नहीं पाया जा सका।

चमोली जिले में गोपेश्वर के पास रैली के जंगलों में आग लगी है। आग के आवासीय बस्ती की ओर आने से रोकने के लिए फायर ब्रिगेड सहित वन कर्मी तैनात हैं। इस क्षेत्र में वन विभाग, पुलिस अधीक्षक, जिलाधिकारी सहित अधिकारियों के आवास हैं।
