ऋषिकेश : वीकेंड पर ऋषिकेश में लगने वाले जाम में फंस कर अब स्‍कूली बच्‍चे परेशान नहीं होंगे। बच्‍चों को जाम के छुटकारा दिलाने के लिए कैबिनेट मंत्री व ऋषिकेश विधायक प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने जिलाधिकारी को निर्देश दिए हैं।

उन्होंने जिलाधिकारी को चारधाम यात्रा संचालित होने तक हर शनिवार को ऋषिकेश के विद्यालयों को बंद किए जाने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

शनिवार को बैराज रोड स्थित कैंप कार्यालय में उत्तराखंड अभिभावक संघर्ष महासंघ के संयोजक रवि कुमार जैन ने कैबिनेट मंत्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल को इस संबंध में पत्र सौंपा।

रवि जैन ने बताया कि शनिवार और रविवार को ऋषिकेश तथा आसपास के क्षेत्रों में लंबा जाम लग रहा है। जिसके चलते शनिवार को स्कूली बच्चों को विद्यालय आने-जाने में काफी दिक्कतें आती हैं। साथ ही अभिभावकों को भी काफी समय लग जाता है।

उन्होंने कैबिनेट मंत्री अग्रवाल से शनिवार को विद्यालय बंद रखने के निर्देश देने का अनुरोध किया। समस्या को गंभीर पाते हुए मंत्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने मौके से ही जिलाधिकारी देहरादून आर राजेश कुमार से दूरभाष पर वार्ता की।

उन्होंने स्कूली बच्चों को समस्या से निजात दिलाने के लिए चारधाम यात्रा संचालित होने तक शनिवार को स्कूल बंद किये जाने के निर्देश दिए। ज्ञापन देने वालों में नरेंद्र रावत, जयंत शर्मा, प्रमोद नोटियाल, मनोज रौतेला, गणेश रावत आदि अभिभावक मौजूद रहे।
