ग्राम केदारावाला जाते हुए कैबिनेट मंत्री रेखा आर्य खेत में गेहूं की फसल काट रही महिलाओं के पास पहुंच गईं। इस दौरान उन्होंने दरांती लेकर महिलाओं के साथ गेहूं काटना शुरू कर दिया। मंत्री ने फसल काटने वाली महिलाओं से उनकी दिनचर्या को लेकर बात की और उन्हें सम्मानित किया। 

केदारवाला गांव के जंगल से गुजरते समय प्रदेश की खाद्य, महिला कल्याण व बाल विकास मंत्री रेखा आर्य ने खेतों में गेहूं की फसल काट रही महिलाओं को देखकर अपने काफिले को रुकवा लिया। इस दौरान मंत्री कार से उतरकर महिलाओं के पास पहुंचीं और उनसे खेती की कटाई के बारे में बात करने लगीं।

इसी बीच मंत्री ने एक महिला से दरांती लेकर गेहूं काटना शुरू कर दिया। उधर, मंत्री के खेत में मौजूद होने की सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण एकत्रित हो गए। उन्होंने ग्राम प्रधान तब्बसुम इमरान से ट्रैक्टर व थ्रेशर के बारे में जानकारी ली। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश की महिलाएं बेहद मेहनत व लगन से अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वहन करती हैं।

मंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार महिलाओं के सशक्तीकरण के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास कर रही है। उन्होंने खेतों में काम कर रही महिलाओं को शॉल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित भी किया। 

खाद्य मंत्री रेखा आर्या ने विकासनगर स्थित गेहूं खरीद केंद्र का निरीक्षण करके अनाज की आवक के बारे में जानकारी ली। केंद्र प्रभारी व खाद्य विभाग की एसएमओ रंजना राजपूत ने मंत्री को खरीद संबंधी जानकारी दी।

इसके बाद मंत्री ने नगर स्थित एफसीआई के गोदाम का भी निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने सरकारी राशन के रखरखाव की जानकारी लेने के साथ अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।

उन्होंने खरीद केंद्र पर कम मात्रा में गेहूं की आवक के बारे में भी अधिकारियों से बात की। इसके साथ ही खरीद केंद्रों पर किसानों की सुविधा के लिए हर आवश्यक इंतजाम किए जाने के निर्देश भी दिए।

मंत्री ने  कहा कि सरकार का मकसद किसानों को लाभ पहुंचाने का है, इसीलिए प्रदेश में एक अप्रैल से ही खरीद केंद्र खोल दिए गए थे।

कहा कि यदि किसानों को बाहर अच्छा मूल्य मिल रहा है तो इससे बेहतर कोई बात नहीं है। सरकारी खरीद केंद्र किसानों की सुविधा के लिए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की कोशिश खरीद के निर्धारित लक्ष्य को पूरा करने की है।
