कॉर्बेट नेशनल पार्क के तहत पाखरो टाइगर सफारी निर्माण की जांच की आंच पूर्व पीसीसीएफ (हॉफ) तक पहुंच गई है। पार्क के तहत कंडी मार्ग का निर्माण, मोरघट्टी और पाखरो वन विश्राम गृह परिसर में भवनों का निर्माण, जलाशय का निर्माण बिना वित्तीय और प्रशासनिक स्वीकृति के कराए जाने सहित वृक्षों के अवैध पातन मामले में पूर्व पीसीसीएफ (हॉफ) राजीव भरतरी को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किया गया है।

शासन की ओर से जारी नोटिस में 15 दिन के भीतर जवाब दाखिल करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। इस मामले में शासन की ओर से जांच के लिए एपीसीसीएफ डॉ.कपिल जोशी की अध्यक्षता में पांच सदस्यीय कमेटी का गठन किया गया था। जिसने फरवरी में अपनी रिपोर्ट शासन को सौंप दी थी।

इस रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि कंडी मार्ग का निर्माण, मोरघट्टी और पाखरो वन विश्राम गृह परिसर में भवनों के निर्माण, जलाशय का निर्माण और पाखरो में प्रस्तावित टाइगर सफारी निर्माण के लिए वृक्षों के अवैध पातन के संबंध में गंभीर प्रशासनिक, वित्तीय, विधिक और आपराधिक अनियमितताएं उजागर हुई हैं।

इसके साथ ही भारतीव वन अधिनियम की तमाम धाराओं का भी उल्लंघन किया गया है। यह सभी काम बिना किसी वित्तीय और प्रशासनिक स्वीकृति के कराए गए। इसके साथ ही तमाम कामों में कैंपा मद का पैसा भी खर्च किया गया, जिसका कोई प्रावधान ही नहीं था।
 

यह कहा गया है नोटिस में

पूर्व पीसीसीएफ राजीव भरतरी को शासन की ओर से जारी नोटिस में कहा गया है कि उक्त अवधि में आप प्रमुख वन संरक्षक (हॉफ) के पद पर कार्यरत थे। प्रकरण के आपके संज्ञान में आने के बावजूद आपकी ओर से इस संबंध में कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं की गई। न ही दोषी अधिकारियों के विरुद्ध कोई आरोप पत्र या साक्ष्य शासन को उपलब्ध कराए गए।
इससे स्पष्ट होता है कि आपने अपने कर्तव्य एवं दायित्व का भली भांति निर्वहन नहीं किया है। भरतरी को इस मामले में 15 दिन के भीतर जवाब दाखिल करने को कहा गया है। खास बात यह है कि इस मामले में अब तक कई अफसरों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई हो चुकी है, लेकिन पीसीसीएफ (हॉफ) राजीव भरतरी को उनके पद से हटाए जाने के छह माह बाद नोटिस जारी किया गया है। प्रमुख सचिव वन आरके सुधांशु ने नोटिस जारी किए जाने की पुष्टि की है।
