नैनीताल: पर्यटन सीजन में साइबर ठग पर्यटकों को अपना निशाना बना रहे हैं। आए दिन होटल बुकिंग के नाम पर पर्यटक ठगे जा रहे हैं। अब नोएडा के एक पर्यटक के साथ ठगी का मामला सामने आया है। पर्यटक ने कोतवाली में तहरीर देकर कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

बी-606 शिवालिक होम्स ग्रेटर नोएडा निवासी रोहित कुमार ने कोतवाली में तहरीर देकर कहा है कि उन्होंने इंटरनेट साइट पर जाकर विला एस्टोरिया होटल के नाम से बुकिंग की थी। वेबसाइट पर दिए गए नंबर पर संपर्क करने के बाद उनसे छह हजार रुपये एडवांस पेमेंट भी करवा ली। अब संबंधित नंबर पर फोन करने पर फोन नहीं उठाया जा रहा है।

उन्हाेंने बताया कि जब वह नैनीताल पहुंचकर होटल में गए तो वहां बताया गया कि उनके नाम से एडवांस में कोई बुकिंग नहीं है। वेबसाइट में दिया गया नंबर भी उनका नहीं है। पर्यटक ने मामले में कार्रवाई की मांग की है। इधर कोतवाल प्रीतम सिंह ने बताया कि शिकायती पत्र को साइबर सेल को भेज दिया गया है। फिलहाल मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
