नैनीताल : प्रकृति के पर्व हरेला पर जुलाई में प्रदेश की 12 हजार से अधिक वन पंचायतों में अबकी बार ठोस कार्ययोजना बनाकर व सुनियोजित तरीके से पौधरोपण किया जाएगा। वन विभाग की ओर से वन पंचायतों को पौधों का वितरण किया जाएगा। पौधरोपण कार्यक्रम में हर वन पंचायत में न्यूनतम 20 पौधों में से पांच-पांच चारा प्रजाति, जंगली फल प्रजाति, इमारती लकड़ी, सुंगधित व औषधीय पौधे देने की रणनीति बनाई जाएगी।

वन महकमा इस बार हरेला पर्व को खास बनाने जा रहा है। पर्व पर पौधरोपण की मुहिम को पंख लगाने की योजना है। इसमें महज कागजी खानापूरी के बजाय धरातल पर पौधों का रोपण हो और हर पौधे की जिम्मेदारी वन पंचायतें व ग्रामीण उठाएं, यही इस बार का लक्ष्य तय किया गया है।

वन महकमे की सर्वे रिपोर्ट बताती है कि रोपे गए पौधों में अधिकांश देखरेख के अभाव में जिंदा नहीं रह पाते हैं, लिहाजा इस बार हरेला पर्व पर जुलाई माह में वन पंचायतों में सघन पौधरोपण कार्यक्रम संचालित होंगे। प्रमुख वन संरक्षक वन पंचायत ज्योत्सना सितलिंग की ओर से राज्य के समस्त प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी को परिपत्र भेजते हुए दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं।

15 जून तक गड्ढे खुदान व अग्रिम मृदा कार्य करना होगा

पीसीसीएफ के अनुसार वन महकमे को पौधालय से पौध उपलब्धता तय करते हुए वनपंचायतों के साथ हरेला कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा तय की जाएगी। हरेला कार्यक्रम की सूचना 20 जून तक मुख्यालय को देनी होगी जबकि वन पंचायतों में पौध रोपण के लिए गड्ढे खुदान, अग्रिम मृदा कार्य 15 जून तक पूरा करने लिए ग्रामीणों व वन पंचायत क्षेत्रवासियों को जागरूक किया जाएगा। पौधरोपण के लिए विभागीय व महिला नर्सरी से पौधे उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे।

हरेला पर 16 जुलाई को राजकीय अवकाश

सरकार की ओर से हरेला पर 16 जुलाई को राजकीय अवकाश घोषित किया गया है। पहाड़ में हरेला पर पौध रोपण करने व पौधों में कलम करने की प्रथा सदियों पुरानी है, मान्यता है कि इस दिन रोपा गया व कलम किया पौधे पर जल्द वृदि्ध करता है। पीसीसीएफ के दिशा निर्देश के मुख्य वन संरक्षक कुमाऊं तेजस्वनी पाटिल व वन संरक्षक कुबेर सिंह बिष्ट की ओर से प्रभागीय वनाधिकारियों को निर्देश जारी कर तय फार्मेट में सूचना मुहैया कराने को कहा है।
