मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी सोमवार को विधानसभा सदस्यता की शपथ लेंगे। इसके लिए विधानसभा भवन में शपथ ग्रहण कार्यक्रम की तैयारियां पूरी हो गई हैं। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ऋतु खंडूड़ी भूषण सीएम धामी को सदस्यता की शपथ दिलाएंगी।

मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने चंपावत उपचुनाव में 55 हजार से अधिक मतों के अंतर से रिकॉर्ड जीत हासिल की है। विधानसभा का बजट सत्र 14 जून से शुरू हो रहा है। इससे पहले मुख्यमंत्री 13 जून को विधानसभा सदस्यता की शपथ लेंगे। 

विधानसभा स्थित स्व.प्रकाश पंत भवन के सभागार में शपथ ग्रहण समारोह की तैयारियां की गई हैं। जिसमें मंत्री, विधायकों के साथ अधिकारी व अन्य अतिथि शामिल होंगे। 

बता दें कि खटीमा विधानसभा से चुनाव हारने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री धामी के लिए चंपावत से विधायक कैलाश चंद गहतोड़ी ने इस्तीफा देकर सीट खाली की थी। उपचुनाव में मुख्यमंत्री रिकॉर्ड मतों के अंतर से जीत हासिल कर विधानसभा सदस्य निर्वाचित हुए हैं।
