कोरोना के दो साल बाद योग नगरी में अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस बड़े स्तर पर पूरे मनोयोग से मनाया जा रहा है। हजारों लोग सुबह साढ़े छह बजे गंगा के किनारे बह रही मंद-मंद बयार के बीच काया को निरोगी रखने के लिए योग की अलग-अलग क्रियाएं करने पहुंचे।

अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी सपरिवार परमार्थ निकेतन आश्रम पहुंचे थे। आश्रम में ऋषिकुमारों ने मंत्रोच्चारण और शंखनाद की ध्वनियों के साथ उनका स्वागत किया। मंगलवार सुबह मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की मौजूदगी में परमार्थ निकेतन के अध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानंद सरस्वती के सानिध्य में हजारों लोग योग किया। ऋषिकेश ने योगनगरी के रूप में देश-विदेश में ख्याती प्राप्त की है। यहां विश्वभर से लोग योग, अध्यात्म और ध्यान का ज्ञान ग्रहण करने आते हैं।

ऋषिकेश में योग को लेकर लोगों में इस कदर जुनून है कि हर घर से एक व्यक्ति योग करता हुआ नजर आएगा। यहां पांच साल के बच्चे से लेकर 70 साल तक के बुजुर्ग भी अपनी योग क्रियाओं से अंचभित कर देते हैं। ऋषिकेश में करीब 450 योग प्रशिक्षण केंद्र हैं और यहां बच्चों की जीवनचर्या का हिस्सा जिम नहीं बल्कि योग है।

बड़ी संख्या में युवा इसे रोजगार के सशक्त माध्यम के रूप में भी अपना रहे हैं, लेकिन कोरोना काल की पाबंदियों के चलते पिछले दो सालों के दौरान लोग घरों में कैद होकर रह गए। ऐसे में अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस महज घरों के भीतर और लोगों की छतों तक सीमित होकर रह गया। 

अब दो साल बाद आज मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की मौजूदगी और परमार्थ निकेतन के अध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानंद सरस्वती के सानिध्य में हजारों लोग सुबह 6.30 बजे एक साथ खुले आसमान के नीचे योग क्रियाओं आनंद उठाया। यहां मुख्यमंत्री योग साधकों के साथ अपने अनुभव और विचार भी साझा करेंगे। 

योग दिवस का मुख्य कार्यक्रम ऋषिकेश स्थित परमार्थ निकेतन में आयोजित हो रहा है। इसके अलावा प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में 75 प्रमुख स्थानों पर भी योग के कार्यक्रम होंगे।

योगनगरी में 200 से अधिक स्थानों पर योग शिविर आयोजित किए गए हैं, जिसमें करीब 25 हजार लोगों ने प्रतिभाग किया। विभिन्न राज्यों से भी लोग योग शिविरों में प्रतिभाग करने के लिए पहुंचे हैं। युवा से लेकर बुजुर्ग सभी में अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस को लेकर जबरदस्त उत्साह है।
