पिथौरागढ़। झूलाघाट में काली नदी पर भारत नेपाल को जोड़ने वाला अंतरराष्ट्रीय झूला पुल क्षतिग्रस्त हुआ है। जिसे देखते हुए आवाजाही रोक दी गई है। पुल पर भारत की तरफ से लगभग दस फीट आगे बिछाए गए लकड़ी के पटरों को सहारा देने वाला लोहे का सरिया निकल गया है, जिस कारण चलने के दौरान हल्की से असावधानी खतरनाक साबित हो सकती है।

मंगलवार को निर्धारित समय सुबह साढ़े सात बजे पुल खुला और दोनों देशों के बीच आवाजाही होने लगी। इस बीच पुल पर चलने वालों ने एसएसबी को स्थिति के बारे में बताया। कहा कि भारत की तरफ से लगभग दस फीट आगे बिछाए गए लकड़ी के पटरों को सहारा देने वाला लोहे का सरिया निकल गया है। जिसके खुलने के डेढ़ घंटे बाद ही पुल को भारत और नेपाल दोनों तरफ से आवाजाही के लिए बंद कर दिया।

सुबह इस पुल के रास्ते दैनिक वस्तुओं की खरीददारी के लिए नेपाल से काफी संख्या में लोग भारत आते हैं और उन्हें वापस लौटना होता है। जिसे देखते हुए भारत और नेपाल की पुल पर तैनात सुरक्षा बलों ने एक घंटे तक पुल खोला ताकि लोग आ जा सके। एसएसबी ने एक घंटे बाद फिर बंद कर दिया है।

एसएसबी का कहना है कि तकनीकी टीम के निरीक्षण के बाद ही पुल खोलने पर निर्णय लिया जाएगा। उप राजस्व निरीक्षक गोपाल दीनिया ने बताया कि सूचना प्रशासन को दे दी गई है। जिला मुख्यालय से तकनीकी टीम झूलाघाट आ रही है। भारत नेपाल सीमा पर झूलाघाट पुल का दायित्व भारत का है। यह पुल भारत ने बनाया है।
