उत्तराखंड में सोमवार सुबह कांग्रेस को दो बड़े झटके लगे हैं। दो चर्चित चेहरों, महिला कांग्रेस की प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष कमलेश रमन के साथ ही पार्टी के प्रवक्ता और वरिष्ठ कांग्रेसी नेता राजेंद्र प्रसाद रतूड़ी ने भी कांग्रेस छोड़ने का एलान किया। डॉ. आरपी रतूड़ी ने सोशल मीडिया पर इसकी जानकारी साझा की। कहा जा रहा है कि दोनों आज दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी ज्वाइन कर सकते हैं।

डॉ. रतूड़ी ने लिखा, ‘ आज मन अत्यंत आहत है। मैंने अपने जीवन के 45 साल कांग्रेस पार्टी को दिए और अब कांग्रेस के जो हालात हैं वह भविष्य के लिए अच्छा संकेत नहीं है। पार्टी नेतृत्व द्वारा जिस तरह के फैसले लिए जा रहे हैं, पार्टी में जिस तरह की अंतरकलह है वह सब अत्यंत ही दुःखद हैं। 2017 के चुनाव परिणाम से सबक लेने के बजाय 2022 की चुनावी हार के बाद पार्टी में गुटबाजी और तेज हो रही है। कांग्रेस पार्टी का उत्तराखंड का नेतृत्व नहीं चाहता कि 2027 में पार्टी चुनाव जीते। चंपावत चुनाव में पार्टी की जो दुर्गति हुई उसके बाद भी बड़े नेता लगातार सोशल मीडिया पर रोज झगड़ते दिख रहे हैं। उससे कार्यकर्ता अत्यंत हतोत्साहित हैं। इसलिए मैं आज आहत होकर कांग्रेस पार्टी के सभी पदों से अपने को मुक्त करते हुए कांग्रेस की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से भी इस्तीफा दे रहा हूं।’ 

वहीं, कमलेश रमन ने प्रदेश अध्यक्ष महिला कांग्रेस की लिखे एक पत्र में कहा कि वह विगत तीन दशक से कांग्रेस से जुड़ी रही और समर्पित भाव से अपना जितना भी सहयोग हो सकता था कांग्रेस पार्टी को दिया। लेकिन विगत कुछ समय से अपने को उपेक्षित एवं ठगा सा महसूस कर रही हूं। मेरी जैसी पूर्णकालिक निष्ठावान कार्यकर्ता की उपेक्षा एवं लगातार बढ़ रहे अंतर्कलह से आहत होकर और बहुत ही दुखी मन से आज कांग्रेस के सभी पदों के साथ प्राथमिक सदस्यता से अपने को मुक्त कर रही हूं।
