काशीपुर की ग्राम ढकिया में क्रिकेट एकेडमी का निर्माण कर रहे ठेकेदार का शव उसके कमरे में पंखे से लटका मिला। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम कराया। युवक के पास एक सुसाइड नोट मिला है जिसमें उसने अपनी मौत के लिए खुद को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है। 

बुधवार सुबह करीब 11 बजे कुंडेश्वरी पुलिस को अपना घर सोसायटी के गार्ड मोहन सिंह और प्रदीप ने सूचना दी कि कॉलोनी के ए-12 क्वार्टर में एक युवक का शव फंदे पर लटका हुआ है। चौकी प्रभारी सुरेंद्र सिंह ने मौके पर पहुंचकर शव कब्जे में लिया। 
जांच में युवक की शिनाख्त दक्षिण दिल्ली के नांगलोई स्थित लक्ष्मी पार्क निवासी रोहित कुमार (34) पुत्र कदम पाल के रूप में हुई है। रोहित अपने मित्र भिंड, मुरैना (एमपी) निवासी अभिषेक के साथ अपना घर कॉलोनी में किराये पर रहकर ढकिया नंबर दो में ठेके पर क्रिकेट अकादमी बनाने का काम कर रहा था। 

रोहित अविवाहित था। साथी अभिषेक ने बताया कि बुधवार सुबह करीब साढ़े सात बजे वह काम से खेल मैदान में गया था। वहां से साढ़े नौ बजे लौटा तो कमरा अंदर से बंद था। उसने आवाज लगाई और रोहित के मोबाइल पर कॉल की लेकिन काफी प्रयासों के बाद भी दरवाजा नहीं खुला। 

एसपी चंद्रमोहन सिंह ने बताया कि युवक के पास से एक सुसाइड नोट मिला है जिसमें उसने अपनी मौत के लिए खुद को जिम्मेदार बताया है। पुलिस ने पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव भाई निशांत को सौंप दिया है। 

एक घंटे तक कमरा खुलने का इंतजार करता रहा अभिषेक
रोहित का कमरा बंद होने के कारण उसका साथी अभिषेक एक घंटे तक बाहर खड़े रहकर दरवाजा खुलने का इंतजार करता रहा। अभिषेक ने बताया कि काफी देर तक कॉल करने के बाद भी जब रोहित के कमरे का दरवाजा नहीं खुला तो उसने दिल्ली में रहने वाले रोहित के भाई निशांत को कॉल लगाई। 

निशांत ने संभावना जताई कि वह नहा रहा होगा। रोहित की देर तक नहाने की आदत है। एक घंटे बाद भी दरवाजा नहीं खुला तो उसने खिड़की तोड़कर अंदर प्रवेश किया जहां रोहित का शव पंखे से लटका हुआ था। 

किरायेदारों का नहीं कराया था सत्यापन
अपना घर सोसायटी के ए-12 क्वार्टर में रोहित और उसका साथी अभिषेक बीती 25 जून से किराये पर रह रहे थे लेकिन कॉलोनी के लोगों को उनके बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं थी। मकान मालिक ने दोनों किराएदारों का सत्यापन भी नहीं कराया था। कॉलोनी के लोगों का कहना था कि कई लोगों ने अपने मकान किराये पर दिए हुए हैं लेकिन किरायेदारों के सत्यापन नहीं कराए हैं।
