हरिद्वार:  कांवड़ मेला यात्रा धर्म, आस्था, श्रद्धा, विश्वास, भक्ति संग आध्यात्मिक शक्ति के मिलन का पर्व है। श्रावण मास में दो सप्ताह चलने वाली यात्रा में शिव भक्त धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुरूप कांवड़ में गंगा जल भरकर अपने गंतव्य तक जाते हैं। इसी क्रम में माता-पिता को कांवड़ पर बैठाकर गाजियाबाद से विकास गहलोत पैदल हरिद्वार पहुंचे हैं।

उन्‍होंने माता-पिता से अपना दर्द छिपाने को दोनों की आंखों पर पट्टी बांधी हुई है। चिलचिलाती धूप और सैकड़ों किमी के सफर की परवाह किए बगैर माता-पिता को कांवड़ पर बैठाकर भगवान शिव का जलाभिषेक करने निकले विकास की हर कोई तारीफ कर रहा है। विकास गहलोत अपने माता-पिता को कांवड़ पर बैठकार यात्रा कराने निकले हैं। विकास इसी तहर सैकड़ों किमी का सफर पैदल तय कर रहे हैं।

यात्रा में माता पिता उनका दर्द देखकर विचलित न हो इसके लिए विकास ने अपने माता-पिता की आंखों पर कपड़ा बाधा है। विकास गहलोत का कहना है कि उनके माता-पिता की कावड़ यात्रा करने की इच्छा थी, लेकिन उनकी उम्र उन्हें ऐसा करने से रोक रही थी। इसलिए विकास के मन में काफी पहले से अपने माता-पिता को कावड़ यात्रा कराने की इच्छा थी। कोरोनाकाल के दो वर्ष बाद इस बार वह अपनी और माता-पिता की इच्‍छा पूरा करने निकले। वहीं चिलचिलाती धूप और बारिश में सैकड़ों किमी का पैदल सफर विकास गहलोत की हिम्मत और मातृ-पितृ भक्ति की हर कोई तारीफ कर रहा है।

कांवड़ ले जाने के लिए धार्मिक मान्यताओं का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाता है। शुभ मुहुर्त में कांवड़ को गंगा जल में स्नान कराकर पूजा अर्चना करने के बाद उठाया जाता है। कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान कई वस्तुओं को निषेध किया गया है। कांवड़ ले जाते वक्त पूर्ण सात्विक रूप से ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन किया जाता है। साथ ही कई प्रकार के मार्ग में निषेधों से बचना पड़ता है। यात्रा में गुलर के पेड़ का विशेष निषेध माना जाता है। इसी प्रकार बिना किसी को पैसे दिए यात्रा में कोई सामान नहीं लिया जाता। भोजन आदि का पैसा देना चाहिए।

कांवड़ मार्ग में शौच आदि से निवृत्त होने के बाद पूर्ण शुद्धि करने पर ही कांवड़ को पुन: उठाना पड़ता है। कांवड़ को एक बार कंधे पर रखने के बाद जमीन पर नहीं रखना होता, विश्राम के दौरान या लघु शंका, शौच आदि कर्मों के साथ ही भोजन, नाश्ता आदि करने पर कांवड़ को स्टैंड पर रखना होता है। यात्रा के दौरान शिव का गुणगान करना होता है। अपशब्द या गलत आचरण से बचना होता है। मांस, मदिरा व मद्य पदार्थों का पूरी तरह निषेध होता है।
