अल्मोड़ा : भाई बहन के स्नेह का पर्व रक्षाबंधन करीब है। ऐसे में राखी का कारोबार भी तेजी पर है। पिछले कुछ वर्षों से राखी को लेकर तरह-तरह के प्रयोग हो रहे हैं। इस बार पिरूल की राखी की लोगों में चर्चा का विषय बनी हुई है।

अल्मोड़ा जिले के सल्ट ब्लाक चमकना गांव मानिला की गीता पंत  चीड़ के पिरूल से राखियां बना रही हैं। उनकी रंग बिरंगी राखियों की मांग उत्तराखंड के साथ ही अन्य राज्यों में भी है।

सल्ट ब्लाक निवासी गीता पंत लाल बहादुर शास्त्री संस्थान हल्दूचौड़ से बीएड कर रही हैं। वर्तमान में उनका फोर्थ सेमेस्टर है। चीड़ की पत्तियों (पिरूल) से राखी बनाने का काम उन्होंने पिछले साल से शुरू किया। पिछले साल उन्होंने सैंकड़ों राखियां बनाकर अमेरिका के साथ ही उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न जनपदों में भेजीं। वहीं हल्द्वानी स्थित दृष्टिबाधित संस्थान को भी राखियां भेजी गईं। इससे उन्हें 15 हजार की इनकम हुई।

इस बार भी वह राखियां तैयार कर रही हैं। बताया की इस बार राखियों की डिमांड जम्मू कश्मीर के साथ ही गाजियाबाद, दिल्ली, देहरादून, नोएडा व फरीदाबाद से हैं। वहीं स्थानीय स्तर पर भी प्रकृति के अनुपम उपहार चीड़ की पत्तियों से बनी यह राखियां खूब पसंद की जा रही हैं। यह राखियां 45 रुपये से लेकर 50 रुपये तक की हैं। इस बार उन्हें राखियों का कारोबार पिछले साल की तुलना में बेहतर होने की उम्मीद है।

राखी बनाने के लिए प्रयुक्त सामग्री
काटन के धागे के साथ ही चीड़ की पत्तियां, सजावट के लिए मोती के दाने। नए-नए डिजायन देख वैसे ही तैयार किए जाते हैं, जैसा प्रचलन राखी निर्माण का वर्षों से चल रहा है। एक राखी निर्माण में करीब 10 से 15 मिनट का समय लग जाता है।

महिलाएं बनेंगी आत्मनिर्भर
उद्यमी गीता पंत ने बताया कि पिरूल से बनीं राखियों की मांग देश के विभिन्न राज्यों से बढ़ती जा रही है। इन राखियों के प्रति लोगों का आकर्षण बढ़ रहा है। जल्द ही एक संस्था का गठन कर इस कार्य को वृहद रूप दिया जाएगा। महिलाएं स्वरोजगार अपना कर आत्मनिर्भर बन सकेंगी।
