डोईवाला : डोईवाला में अवैध हथियारों को बेचने के आरोप में देहरादून का एक फाइनेंसर गिरफ्तार किया गया है। जानकारी के मुताबिक बीती चार अगस्‍त को नागल ज्वालापुर निवासी राहुल चौधरी की मौत हो गई थी।

इस दौरान लाश के पास से एक पिस्‍तौल और कारतूस बरामद हुए थे। इसकी जांच की गई तो पता चला कि उक्‍त पिस्‍तौल और कारतूस देहरादून के फाइनेंसर ने राहुल को बेचे थे। आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

राहुल की मौत के मामले में दो दर्जन करीबियों से पूछताछ
नागल ज्वालापुर निवासी राहुल चौधरी की मौत की गुत्थी अभी तक सुलझ नहीं पाई है। हत्या या आत्महत्या को लेकर भी पुलिस अभी तक किसी स्पष्ट नतीजे पर नहीं पहुंच पाई है। पुलिस ने अभी तक मृतक के दर्जनों करीबियों से पूछताछ की है।

कोतवाली प्रभारी निरीक्षक मनोज मेनवाल ने बताया कि पुलिस हर पहलू को लेकर जांच कर रही है। मृतक से संबंधित लगभग 20 से 25 लोग से पुलिस अब तक पूछताछ कर चुकी है। साथ ही आसपास क्षेत्र के सीसीटीवी फुटेज भी खंगाली जा रही है।

इसके अलावा मृतक के पास मिले सामान व तमंचे को भी जांच के लिए भेजा जा रहा है। अब जल्द मृतक के स्वजन के भी लिए जाएंगे।
