रामनगर: कार्बेट नेशनल पार्क टाइगर सफारी के लिए विश्व प्रसिद्ध है। सफारी के दौरान प्रकृति व वन्यजीवों को देखने का रोमांच की अलग होता है।

कार्बेट प्रशासन अब सफारी के वाहनों में बदलाव करने जा रहा है। यदि सबकुछ ठीक रहा तो कार्बेट पार्क में मारुति की जिप्सियों की जगह पर्यटक टाटा कंपनी के वाहनों से जंगल सफारी करेंगे।

क्यों हो रहा बदलाव
सफारी के वाहनों में बदलाव के लिए विभागीय अधिकारियों व टाटा कंपनी के अधिकारियों के बीच वार्ता हो चुकी है। कार्बेट प्रशासन कंपनी के वाहन का जंगल में ट्रायल लेगा। वाहन विभाग को पंसद आया तो उसे पहले चरण में महिला चालकों को खरीदवाया जाएगा।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार वाहन बदलने के पीछे का कारण अब मारुति द्वारा जिप्सी वाहन उत्पादन न होना है। वाहन डिस्काटीन्यू होने से कई समस्याएं आ रही थीं।

पूर्व में दो वाहनों का हो चुका ट्रायल
कार्बेट पार्क के सभी जोनों में पर्यटकों को घुमाने के लिए छह सीटर जिप्सी ही अधिकृत हैं। अब कंपनी ने जिप्सियों का उत्पादन बंद कर दिया। ऐसे में नई जिप्सियां अब नहीं मिल रही है।

विभाग ने इसी साल थार कंपनी व फोर्स क्रूजर के दो वाहनों का ट्रायल लिया था। लेकिन इन वाहनों को ट्रायल के दौरान ही विभाग के अलावा महिला जिप्सी चालकों ने नापंसद कर दिया था।

टाटा के अधिकारियों से चल रही बात
अब सीटीआर के निदेशक धीरज पांडे ने टाटा कंपनी के अधिकारियों से सफारी के लिए छह सीटर वाहनों को लेकर बात की है। जिस पर कंपनी के अधिकारियों ने सहमति जताई है।

निदेशक ने अगले सप्ताह तक टाटा के एक दो वाहनों का कार्बेट में ट्रायल कराने को कहा है। वाहन पर सहमति बनने पर महिला चालकों को यह वाहन दिए जाएंगे।

महिला चालकों को मिलेगा वाहन

सीटीआर के निदेशक धीरज पांडे ने बताया कि टाटा मोटर के वाहनों का ट्रायल कराने को उनके अधिकारियों से कहा गया है।

यदि ट्रायल में वाहन हर दृष्टिकोण से ठीक होगा तो उसे पहले महिला चालकों को दिलाया जाएगा। उसके बाद समय सीमा से बाहर होने वाली जिप्सियों की जगह यही वाहन चलेंगे।

वीर चंद्र गढ़वाली योजना से मिलेंगे वाहन
कार्बेट पार्क में महिला जिप्सी चालकों को भी टाटा के नए वाहन दिए जाने की संभावना है। इस संबंध में विधायक प्रतिनिधि मदन जोशी ने डीएम नैनीताल धीराज गब्र्याल से मुलाकात कर महिला जिप्सी चालकों को वीर चंद्र गढ़वाली योजना से नए वाहन के लिए ऋण दिलाने के संबंध में वार्ता की है।
