बैद्यनाथ-कपकोट-मुनस्यारी हाईवे पर बारिश के चलते पहाड़ी का हिस्सा खिसक कर तेज आवाज में गिरा। इससे हाईवे पूरी तरह से ध्वस्त हो गया। इससे कपकोट मुख्य मार्ग बाधित हो गया है। कई वाहन सवार बाल बाल बचे।

इसके अलावा बागेश्वर-गरुड़ मार्ग में जग़ह जगह पेड़ और मलबा आने से सड़क बंद है। गिरेछिना मोटर मार्ग भी बन है। नदियों का जलस्तर बढ़ गया है। पेयजल आपूर्ति भी चरमरा गई है।
