देहरादून। ग्राफिक एरा ने टिहरी के ग्वाड़ गांव में मलबे में दबकर जान गंवाने वाले राणा दंपति के दोनों बच्चों की शिक्षा की जिम्मेदारी ली है। बीते शनिवार को उनके शव मलबे से निकाले गए।

20 अगस्त की तड़के आई आपदा में टिहरी के सकलाना पट्टी के ग्वाड़ निवासी राजेंद्र सिंह राणा और उनकी पत्नी सुनीता राणा की घर में मलबे में दबकर मौत हो गई थी। उनके दो बच्चे सिद्धार्थ राणा (14 वर्ष) और वंशिका राणा (12 वर्ष) अनाथ हो गए थे। ग्राफिक एरा ग्रुप ऑफ इंस्टीट्यूशंस के अध्यक्ष डॉ. कमल घनशाला ने राणा दंपति के निधन पर शोक व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने बताया कि सिद्धार्थ और वंशिका की कक्षा 12 तक की फीस, किताब, ड्रेस आदि का खर्च ग्राफिक एरा वहन करेगा। इसके बाद दोनों बच्चे ग्राफिक एरा डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी या ग्राफिक एरा हिल यूनिवर्सिटी में इंजीनियरिंग, मैनेजमेंट आदि कोर्स की कर सकेंगे। पूरी शिक्षा निशुल्क होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि दुख की इस घड़ी में ग्राफिक एरा परिवार बच्चों के साथ खड़ा है। उनका भविष्य संवारने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किया जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि ग्राफिक एरा इससे पहले भी कई शहीदों के बच्चों के लिए इस तरह की व्यवस्था कर चुकी है। डॉ. कमल घनशाला ने इस संबंध में सिद्धार्थ और वंशिका के ननिहाल में पत्र भेजा है। ग्राफिक एरा की टीम ने रायपुर खादर में इन बच्चों के ननिहाल पहुंचकर इनकी मौसी पिंकी रावत को यह पत्र सौंपा। इस टीम में ग्राफिक एरा डीम्ड यूनिवर्सिटी के कुलसचिव मेजर जनरल ओपी सोनी, निदेशक इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रो. सुभाष गुप्ता और डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ हयूमैनिटिज एंड सोशल साइंसेज की विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. प्रभा लांबा शामिल थे।
