देहरादून। एथलेटिक्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया ने गुजरात में होने वाले 36 वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के लिए सभी राज्यों के एथलीटों की अंतिम सूची जारी की है। उत्तराखंड के बीस खिलाड़ियों के नाम इस सूची में शामिल हैं।

इन खिलाड़ियों को मौजूदा रैंकिंग के चलते राष्ट्रीय खेलों में जगह मिली है। गुजरात में आगामी 28 सितम्बर से 3 अक्तूबर तक राष्ट्रीय खेल होने हैं। उत्तराखंड एथलेटिक्स एसोसिएशन सचिव केजेएस कलसी ने बताया कि उत्तराखंड से कुल 13 पुरूष व सात महिला खिलाड़ियों को इसमें जगह मिली है। ये राज्य के लिए गर्व की बात है। उत्तराखंड एथलेटिक्स एसोसिएशन को पांच अतिरिक्त खिलाड़ियों का कोटा मिलने की भी उम्मीद है। इसके लिए फेडरेशन से प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। पश्चिम बंगाल, तेलंगाना, ओड़िसा, मध्य प्रदेश, झारखंड, हिमाचल, आंध्रा प्रदेश, असम, छत्तीसगढ़, गुजरात जैसे राज्यों से अधिक संख्या में उत्तराखंड के एथलीट राष्ट्रीय खेलों में जाएंगे। हरियाणा के सबसे अधिक 74 एथलीट इसमें हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। सभी खिलाड़ियों के पिछले ट्रैक रिकार्ड को देखते हुए पदक की उम्मीद है। एथलेटिक्स इवेंट में कुल 23 राज्यों के कुल 502 एथलीट जोर आजमाइश करेंगे। उन्होंने सभी खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं दी है।
