हल्द्वानी : मौसम विभाग ने कुमाऊं मंडल में अगले तीन दिन भारी वर्षा की चेतावनी जारी की है। दक्षिण पश्चिम मानसून सक्रिय होने की वजह से अधिकांश जगहों पर हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा की संभावना बन रही है। कुछ जगहों पर भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश हो सकती है।

ऐसे में 15 व 16 सितंबर के लिए आरेंज अलर्ट व 17 सितंबर के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया किया गया है। मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के निदेशक बिक्रम सिंह ने बताया कि तीन दिनों की अवधि में समूचे उत्तराखंड में अच्छी वर्षा की संभावना है। भारी वर्षा को देखते हुए सतर्कता बरतने की सलाह जारी की गई है। नदी-नालों के करीब नहीं जाने व आवागमन में सावधानी बरनते को कहा गया है।

12वीं तक के स्कूलों में अवकाश
मौसम क देखते हुए पिथौरागढ़, चंपावत और अल्मोड़ा जिला प्रशासन ने 15 सितंबर को स्कूलों में अवकाश घोषित कर दिया है। इन जिलों के प्रशासन की आेर से कहा गया है कि मौसम विभाग के भारी बारिश की चेतावनी को देखते हुए 15 सितंबर को पिथौरागढ़, चंपावत और अल्मोड़ा जिले में कक्षा एक से 12 तक के सभी शासकीय, अशासकीय विद्यालय और आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों को बंद रखने का निर्णय लिया गया है।

शिक्षक रहेंगे कार्यस्थल पर
इस दौरान शिक्षक और कर्मचारी अपने कार्यस्थलों में बने रहेंगे। वहीं बागेश्वर जिला प्रशासन ने 17 सितंबर को रेड अलर्ट के मद्देनजर सभी विभागों में अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों के अवकाश रद कर दिए हैं। साथ ही पुलिस, वन विभाग व तहसील प्रशासन को निर्देश दिए हैं कि पर्यटक व ट्रैकरों को पिंडारी, कफनी तथा सुंदरढूंगा ग्लेशियरों की ओर न जाने दिया जाए।
