रुद्रपुर : एमएमटी फैक्ट्री रुद्रपुर में सीवर ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट यानी एसटीपी टैंक साफ करने के दौरान बीते दिनों छह श्रमिक बेहोश हो गए थे। उन्हें इलाज के लिए अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। जिनमें एक श्रमिक की इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई। इसका पता चलते ही स्वजनों में कोहराम मच गया था। पुलिस ने शव पोस्टमार्टम को भेज दिया है।

पुलिस के मुताबिक ठेकेदार प्रवीन के कहने पर उसके साथ काम करने वाला प्रकाश रविवार को खेड़ा निवासी सुरेश, सचिन और रमेश के साथ ही प्रीत विहार निवासी दिनेश को अपने साथ मजदूरी करने के लिए एमएमटी फैक्ट्री ले गया था। जहां बिना सुरक्षा उपकरण के ही इटीपी टैंक में उतर गए थे।

एसटीपी की गैस से सुरेश, सचिन, रमेश तथा प्रकाश के साथ ही प्रवीन और दिनेश बेहोश हो गए थे। इस पर उन्हें निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। मामले में हादसे का पीड़ित ग्राम गुड़गावा नवाबगंज बरेली और हाल खेड़ा निवासी सचिन पुत्र दिनेश कुमार ने तहरीर सौंपकर फैक्ट्री प्रबंधन के विरुद्ध कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

उसका कहना है कि वह अपने साथियों किशनपुर बरेली निवासी रमेश पुत्र लालाराम भवरकी मिलक रामपुर निवासी सुरेश पुत्र राम प्रकाश के साथ रविवार को काम की तलाश में लेबर चौक सिडकुल में खड़ा था। इसी बीच प्रकाश नाम का ठेकेदार वहां आया और एमएमटी फैक्ट्री में काम करने के लिए ले गया।

फैक्ट्री प्रबंधकों ने अंदर बने अंडर ग्राउंड गंदे पानी का सीवर टैंक के पास ले जाकर कहा कि इस टैंक की सफाई करनी है। प्रबंधकों से पूछा कि सीवर टैंक कितना गहरा है तो उन्होंने बताया कि ज्यादा गहरा नहीं है। इसके बाद एमएमटी फैक्ट्री प्रबंधकों ने बिना मास्क व सुरक्षा उपकरणों के तीनों को जबरन गंदे पानी के सीवर टैंक के अंदर भेज दिया था। अंदर गैस बदबू व गैस से वे लोग गंदे पाने की सीवर टैंक में बेहोश होकर गिर गए।

सुरेश की हुई मौत
उनके शोर मचाने पर फैक्ट्री के लोगों ने उन्हें निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया। जहां उसके साथी सुरेश की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है। सचिन की तहरीर पर फैक्ट्री प्रबंधन के विरुद्ध पुलिस ने केस दर्ज कर लिया था। इधर गंभीर अवस्था में आईसीयू में भर्ती सुरेश की बुधवार देर रात उपचार के दौरान मौत हो गई है।
