उत्तराखंड के कोटद्वार में मंगलवार सुबह दर्दनाक हादसा हो गया। कोटद्वार पोखड़ा बैजरो मार्ग पर एक कार खाई में गिर गई। हादसे में दो लोगों की मौत हो गई, जबकि एक व्यक्ति घायल हुआ है।

एसओ थलीसैंण सतेंद्र भंडारी ने बताया कि घटना सुबह करीब 10 बजे की है।  बीरोंखाल के अंतर्गत कोलादरिया के पास एक कार खाई में गिरने की सूचना मिली थी। टीम ने मौके पर जाकर जांच की तो सामने आया कि कार में तीन लोग सवार थे। वे कार लेकर नोएडा से कोटद्वार होते हुए बीरोंखाल जा रहे थे। इस दौरान अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर कार खाई में जा गिरी। हादसे में कार चालक रोहित, निवासी नोएडा सेक्टर 56 की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।  

वहीं, एक मृतक कुंदन सिंह निवासी ग्राम कोलिंडा बताया जा रहा है, जो रास्ते से ही रोहित के साथ कार में बैठा था। हादसे के दौरान एक युवक सुनील घायल हो गया। जिसे पुलिस ने बीरोंखाल सामुदायिक अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया। सुनील की हालत खतरे से बाहर बताई जा रही है।

बताया जा रहा है कि सुनील पंजेड़ा गांव का निवासी है और नोएडा में नौकरी करता है। मंगलवार को वह अपने गांव जा रहा था। जिसके लिए उसने रोहित की टेक्सी बुक की थी।
