अंकिता हत्याकांड को लेकर पटवारी वैभव प्रताप को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। डीएम पौड़ी ने इसके आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि 19 सितंबर को अंकिता के पिता ने फोन पर बेटी की गुमशुदगी की सूचना वैभव प्रताप को दी थी। लेकिन वैभव गुमशुदगी की खबर लगते ही चार दिनों की छुट्टी पर चला गया।

छुट्टी पर जाने से पहले वैभव ने पटवारी विवेक कुमार को चार्ज दिया था। वैभव ने छुट्टी पर जाते ही फोन भी बंद कर दिया था। प्रशासन भी उससे संपर्क नहीं कर पा रहा था। यह क्षेत्र राजस्व पुलिस के अंतर्गत आता है। इसलिए पहले सूचना पटवारी वैभव प्रताप को ही दी गई। बाद में दूसरे पटवारी ने शिकायत लिखी। चार दिन बाद जब केस रेग्यूलर पुलिस को हस्तांतरित हुआ तब पूरा मामला खुला।

पटवारी की पुलकित से थी दोस्ती
सामने आया कि पटवारी और आरोपी पुलकित आर्य के बीच दोस्ती थी। वैभव का वनंत्रा रिजॉर्ट में पहले से आना जाना था। करीब एक महीने पहले पटवारी वैभव प्रताप का कांडाखाल स्थानांतरण हुआ था। तहसीलदार मनजीत सिंह गिल ने बताया कि आपदा काल को देखते हुए पटवारी वैभव को मौखिक आदेश पर रोका गया था। बताया जा रहा है कि वैभव अंकिता के पिता से भी ढंग से पेश नहीं आया था।

लोग पहले से उठा रहे थे मांग
मामले में शुरू से ही पटवारी की भूमिका पर सवाल उठ रहे थे। लोग लगातार सरकार से पटवारी को हटाए जाने और इस पूरे मामले में पटवारी को लेकर भी जांच करने की मांग कर रहे थे।

वनंत्रा रिजॉर्ट की जांच एडीएम पौड़ी को सौंपी
डीएम डॉ. विजय जोगदंडे ने वनंत्रा रिजॉर्ट की वैधता की जांच एडीएम पौड़ी को सौंप दी है। वहीं, जांच कमेट भी बनाई गई है। वन व राजस्व विभाग के कर्मचारी इसमें शामिल हैं। साथ ही डीएम ने 15 दिन में रिपोर्ट मांगी है।

रिजॉर्ट पर कार्रवाई के संबंध में डीएम ने कहा, करवाई तहसील स्तर पर हुई है। बाद में इसकी सूचना मिली थी। पुलिस ने उन्हें बताया कि कोई साक्ष्य प्रभावित नहीं हुआ। सभी जरूरी साक्ष्यों का संकलन कर लिया गया था।
