उत्तराखंड के कई शहरों और दिल्ली के बीच 01 अक्तूबर से रोडवेज बसें चलेंगी या पाबंदी लग जाएंगी? इसको लेकर बस यात्रियों में संशय बना हुआ है। ऐसे में अब उत्तराखंड सरकार ने साफ किया है कि प्रदूषण की वजह से डीजल वाहनों पर दिल्ली सरकार की सख्ती से उत्तराखंड रोडवेज अछूता रहेगा।

दिल्ली सरकार ने दूसरे राज्यों से बीएस सिक्स मॉडल या आठ वर्ष से कम आयु की बसें लाने की अनुमति दी है। उत्तराखंड के लिए राहत की बात ये है कि राज्य की दिल्ली रूट पर संचालित रोडवेज की लगभग सब बसें आठ वर्ष से कम आयु की हैं। परिवहन सचिव एएस. ह्यांकी बताया कि दिल्ली में एक अक्तूबर से बीएस सिक्स मॉडल के अलावा बाकी मॉडल की डीजल बसों पर प्रतिबंध को लेकर बीते कुछ समय से भ्रम फैला हुआ था।

हकीकत यह है कि दिल्ली सरकार ने साफ कहा है कि सिर्फ आठ वर्ष पुरानी डीजल बसें वहां नहीं ले जाई जा सकतीं। इससे कम समय तक चली बसें दिल्ली आ सकती हैं। हालांकि उन्हें भी अपने साथ प्रदूषण नियंत्रण प्रमाणपत्र रखना होगा। ह्यांकी ने बताया कि इस मुद्दे पर दिल्ली सरकार के प्रतिनिधियों से बात की जा चुकी है। उत्तराखंड रोडवेज के पास अधिकांश बसें वर्ष 2016 और उसके बाद की हैं इसलिए वो उम्र का मानक पूरा कर रही हैं।
