चीन सीमा पर हिमपात

उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ी इलाकों में अब ठंड बढ़ने लगी है। वहीं, बारिश के साथ हिमपात भी होने लगा है। समुद्र तल से 17,500 फीट की ऊंचाई पर सोमवार शाम चीन सीमा के पास चार सेंटीमीटर तक हिमपात हुआ है। इस सीजन में तीसरी बार हिमपात होने से निचले क्षेत्रों में ठंड बढ़ गई है। तापमान गिरने के कारण सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को दिक्कतें झेलनी पड़ रही है।

चीन सीमा के पास दारमा घाटी की अंतिम चौकी दावे में दो अक्तूबर को चार सेंटीमीटर और पहाड़ों में डेढ़ फीट से अधिक बर्फबारी हुई है। दारमा घाटी के 10 हजार फीट से अधिक ऊंचाई पर स्थित ढाकर और बिदांग चौकी में भी एक फीट से अधिक बर्फबारी हुई है। इस कारण उच्च हिमालयी क्षेत्र दारमा घाटी के 14 गांव और व्यास घाटी के सात गांवों में ठंड बढ़ गई है।

दोनों घाटियों में लोगों ने पलथी, फाफर आदि फसलों की कटाई शुरू कर दी है। ठंड अधिक होने पर दोनों घाटी के लोग नवंबर के पहले सप्ताह से निचली घाटियों में आना शुरू कर देंगे।

व्यास घाटी के ज्योलीकांग, नाभीढांग, ओम पर्वत, आदि कैलाश, प्रसिद्ध पंचाचूली में भी बर्फबारी हुई है। इसके चलते लोगों के साथ ही सीमा की सुरक्षा में लगे जवानों की मुश्किलें भी बढ़ गई हैं। रास्ते और घर बर्फ से लकदक हो गए हैं। इस कारण लोगों के साथ ही जवानों को भी आवाजाही में दिक्कत का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। वहीं, लोग गर्म कपड़े भी पहनने लगे हैं। उत्तराखंड में मानसून की विदाई भी होने वाली है। वहीं, दहशहरे के बाद फिर से एक बार बारिश के आसार हैं। उधर, केदारनाथ और हेमकुंड साहिब में भी बर्फबारी का सिलसिला जारी है।
