Dehradun News: वन्यजीव-पक्षियों की अठखेलियां देख खुश हुए बच्चे

Children were happy to see the antics of wildlife and birds

देहरादून। नए साल पर दून चिड़ियाघर में पर्यटकों की भारी भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी। साल के पहले दिन रविवार होने के चलते 7500 से अधिक पर्यटक चिड़ियाघर पहुंचे और वन्यजीवों का दीदार किया। वन्यजीवों-पक्षियों की अठखेलियां देख बच्चे उत्साहित नजर आए।

नए साल का जश्न मनाने आए हरियाणा, उत्तर प्रदेश, हिमाचल, पंजाब समेत अन्य राज्यों के पर्यटक भी दून चिड़ियाघर पहुंचे। बच्चों ने परिजनों संग तेंदुआ, सांभर, हिरण, कांकड़, मगरमच्छ, घड़ियाल जैसे वन्यजीवों और दो दर्जन से अधिक प्रजातियों के रंग-बिरंगे देसी-विदेशी पक्षियों को देखकर जमकर लुत्फ उठाया। छोटे बच्चे रंगीन मछलियों को देखकर बहुत खुश हुए।

वहीं, बड़ी संख्या में युवा भी पहुंचे, जिन्होंने चिड़ियाघर में लगाए गए जिपलाइन, बर्मा ब्रिज, कमांडो नेट जैसे साहसी खेलों का आनंद लिया। दून चिड़ियाघर में दिनभर टिकट लेने के लिए लंबी लाइने लगी रहीं। पार्क प्रशासन को अतिरिक्त कर्मचारियों की तैनाती करनी पड़ी। वन क्षेत्राधिकारी मोहन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि साल के पहले दिन साढ़े सात हजार पर्यटक दून चिड़ियाघर पहुंचे।

एफआरआई बंद होने से मायूस लौटे पर्यटक
देहरादून। वन अनुसंधान संस्थान (एफआरआई) बंद होने से भ्रमण के लिए पहुंचे पर्यटकों को मायूस लौटना पड़ा। नए साल का जश्न मनाने और संस्थान की ऐतिहासिक इमारत के सामने तस्वीरें लेने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक पहुंचे थे। कुछ पर्यटकों ने सुरक्षाकर्मियों से प्रवेश देने की गुजारिश भी की। अनुमति नहीं मिलने पर लोग गेट के बाहर से ही तस्वीरें और सेल्फी लेकर लौट गए। बता दें कि तेंदुए की चहलकदमी के चलते संस्थान में पर्यटकों की आवाजाही पर 15 जनवरी तक रोक लगाई गई है।
