ऋषभ पंत की कार यहां हुई हादसे का शिकार

रुड़की में जिस जगह पर क्रिकेटर ऋषभ पंत की कार दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुई थी उसके समीप सिंचाई विभाग का रजवाहा होने के कारण मार्ग की चौड़ाई करीब आठ फुट कम है। इसके चलते अब एनएचएआई इसे 4.5 मीटर शिफ्ट करेगा। इसके लिए सिंचाई विभाग से एनओसी मिली गई है।

रजवाहे का पानी बंद करने के लिए समय मांगा गया है। काम के दौरान करीब 15 दिन तक पानी बंद रहेगा। नारसन में दिल्ली-हरिद्वार हाईवे पर बॉर्डर से हरिद्वार की ओर सिंचाई विभाग का रजवाहा बह रहा है। इसके चलते यहां पर मार्ग की चौड़ाई तो कम है ही इसके मुहाने पर मिट्टी का पुश्ता बनाया गया है।

इससे हाईवे पर तेज गति से आ रहे वाहनों को अचानक धोखा लग रहा है। यहां पर कई दुर्घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं। क्रिकेटर ऋषभ पंत की कार दुर्घटना भी इसी स्थल के समीप हुई थी। इसके बाद से एनएचएआई ने इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए सर्वे किया था।

योजना के अनुसार रजवाहे को 4.5 मीटर पश्चिम की ओर शिफ्ट किया जाएगा जिससे मार्ग चौड़ा हो जाएगा। साथ ही यहां पर सर्विस लेन भी नहीं है। ऐसे में रजवाहे के ऊपर पुलिया बनाकर इसका उपयोग सर्विस लेन के रूप में किया जा सकेगा।

एनएचएआई के डीजीएम राघव त्रिपाठी ने बताया कि सिंचाई विभाग से 13 जनवरी को एनओसी मिल गई है। अब काम शुरू करने के लिए रजवाहे का पानी बंद कराना होगा। इसके लिए सिंचाई विभाग की ओर से समय मांगा गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि निर्माण कार्य के लिए रजवाहे का पानी 15 दिन के लिए बंद किया जाएगा।

बता दें कि दिल्ली से रुड़की ढंढेरा अशोकनगर में अपने घर लौटते समय क्रिकेटर ऋषभ पंत की कार नारसन में दिल्ली-हरिद्वार हाईवे पर डिवाइडर से टकरकर हाईवे के दूसरी तरफ पलटी लेते हुए करीब 200 मीटर तक जा पहुंची थी। दुर्घटना के साथ ही कार में भयंकर आग लग गई थी।
