अंकिता हत्याकांड मामले में प्रभावी पैरवी करने के लिए शासन ने डीजीसी जितेंद्र सिंह रावत को विशेष लोक अभियोजक नियुक्त किया है। वह इस मामले में संबंधित न्यायालय में राज्य सरकार की ओर से प्रभावी पैरवी और प्रतिवाद करेंगे। अपर सचिव न्याय आरके श्रीवास्तव की ओर से डीजीसी को पत्र मिल गया है।

डीजीसी जितेंद्र रावत ने बताया कि अंकिता हत्याकांड मामला अभी न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट प्रथम श्रेणी भावना पांडेय की अदालत में चल रहा है जिसमें अगली सुनवाई 23 जनवरी को होनी है। इसी दिन इस केस के सत्र न्यायालय के सुपुर्द किए जाने की संभावना है।

उन्होंने बताया कि शासन की ओर से उन्हें इस मामले में विशेष लोक अभियोजक नियुक्त किया गया है। उन्हें नियुक्ति से संबंधित पत्र प्राप्त हो गया है। बताया कि वह सत्र न्यायालय में भी सरकार की ओर से उक्त मामले की सशक्त पैरवी करेंगे।
