खुद को विश्नोई गैंग का सदस्य बताकर एक बदमाश ने ठेकेदार से एक लाख रुपये की रंगदारी वसूल ली। आरोपी ने ठेकेदार को जान से मारने की धमकी दी थी। पुलिस को पता चला तो आरोपी को आगरा से गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। न्यायालय के आदेश पर उसे जेल भेज दिया गया है।

एसएसपी दलीप सिंह कुंवर ने बताया कि पीड़ित कालसी क्षेत्र निवासी हैं और ए क्लास के ठेकेदार हैं। उन्हें पिछले दिनों एक नंबर से फोन आया था। फोन करने वाले ने खुद को विश्नोई गैंग का सदस्य बताया। लगातार दो महीने से उन्हें फोन किया जा रहा था। एक बार डर के मारे ठेकेदार ने आरोपी को एक लाख रुपये दे दिए।

बावजूद इसके उसने फोन करना बंद नहीं किया। लिहाजा तंग आकर उन्होंने पुलिस को सूचना दी। पुलिस ने उस नंबर के बारे में पता करना शुरू किया। कालसी में मुकदमा दर्ज कर मामले की जांच शुरू की गई। वह नंबर किसी मनोज नाम के व्यक्ति के नाम पर पंजीकृत था। इसकी लोकेशन निकाली गई तो यह आगरा के रकाबगंज में आई। पुलिस टीम बनाकर उसकी गिरफ्तारी के प्रयास किए गए। आरोपी को रकाबगंज से ही गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।

पता कर रहे आपराधिक इतिहास
पूछताछ में आरोपी ने अपना नाम मनोज कुमार निवासी नरहौली, हेवरा, इटावा, सैफई उत्तर प्रदेश बताया। आरोपी ने पुलिस को बताया कि उसने ठेकेदार के बारे में करीब दो माह पहले पता किया था। पता चला था कि वह ए क्लास के ठेकेदार हैं और उनके पास काफी पैसा है।

एसएसपी ने बताया कि आरोपी के विश्नोई गैंग से होने के अभी तक कोई साक्ष्य नहीं मिले हैं। कुख्यात गैंग के सभी सदस्यों के बारे में जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है। आरोपी मनाेज के बारे में भी पुलिस पड़ताल कर रही है। अंदेशा है कि वह उत्तर प्रदेश की किसी गैंग से जुड़ा हो सकता है। उसने एक लाख रुपये जिस खाते में जमा कराए थे, उसे फ्रीज कर दिया गया है।
