जोशीमठ आपदा प्रभावितों से सहकारी बैंकों से लिए गए ऋण की एक साल तक वसूली नहीं होगी। शासन ने ऋण वसूली को एक साल के लिए स्थगित कर दिया है। इस संबंध में अपर सचिव सहकारिता आलोक कुमार पांडेय ने आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। आदेश के मुताबिक, आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों व व्यक्तियों से सहकारी बैंकों से लिए गए ऋण की किस्तों की वसूली एक वर्ष तक स्थगित रहेगी।

इस अवधि में प्रभावित परिवारों के खिलाफ किसी भी तरह की उत्पीड़नात्मक कार्रवाई नहीं की जाएगी। बता दें कि 20 जनवरी को सचिव आपदा प्रबंधन डॉ. रंजीत कुमार सिन्हा ने सचिव सहकारिता को इस संबंध में पत्र जारी किया था। इसमें कहा गया था कि आपदा प्रभावित परिवारों को अन्यत्र स्थानों पर विस्थापित करने से उनके व्यवसाय प्रभावित हुए हैं।

राहत देने के लिए ऐसे परिवारों से सहकारी, राष्ट्रीयकृत, अथवा अन्य कामर्शियल बैंकों से लिए गए ऋण की किस्तों की वसूली एक साल तक स्थगित रखने का अनुरोध किया गया। इस संबंध में निबंधक सहकारिता को आदेश जारी किया गया है। जोशीमठ नगर में आई आपदा को एक माह हो गया है लेकिन अभी तक सरकार की तरफ से पुनर्वास को लेकर कोई समाधान नहीं निकल पाया है। एक माह से आपदा प्रभावित परिवार शिविरों में रह रहे हैं। नगर में भू-धंसाव और मकानों में दरारें आने का सिलसिला काफी पहले शुरू हो गया था लेकिन दो जनवरी की रात को मनोहर बाग, सिंहधार और सुनील वार्ड के कई मकानों में अचानक बड़ी-बड़ी दरारें आ गई थीं।
