आधिकारिक सूत्रों के मुताबिक, कानून बन जाने के बाद अब एसएलपी का कोई महत्व नहीं रह गया है। इसलिए वापस लिया जाना ही बेहतर विकल्प है।

उत्तराखंड सरकार महिला क्षैतिज आरक्षण मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट से विशेष अनुग्रह याचिका वापस ले सकती है। आज मंगलवार को इस मामले सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई होनी है। माना जा रहा है कि सुनवाई के दौरान राज्य सरकार अपना पक्ष रखते समय यह जानकारी दे सकती है कि राज्य में अधिवास करने वाली महिलाओं के लिए सरकारी नौकरियों में 30 प्रतिशत क्षैतिज आरक्षण का अधिनियम बनाया जा चुका है।

बता दें कि राज्य सरकार ने महिला क्षैतिज आरक्षण के शासनादेशों पर हाईकोर्ट की रोक के फैसले को सुप्रीमकोर्ट में चुनौती दी थी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हाईकोर्ट के फैसले पर रोक लगा दी थी। इसके बाद राज्य सरकार ने क्षैतिज आरक्षण को बहाल करने के लिए विधानसभा से विधेयक पास कराया और राज्यपाल की मंजूरी के बाद यह अधिनियम बन गया। आधिकारिक सूत्रों के मुताबिक, कानून बन जाने के बाद अब एसएलपी का कोई महत्व नहीं रह गया है। इसलिए वापस लिया जाना ही बेहतर विकल्प है।

अब आयोग सभी भर्तियों में देगा 30 प्रतिशत क्षैतिज आरक्षण
आयोग ने हाईकोर्ट के आदेश से पहले जिस तरह से उत्तराखंड की महिला उम्मीदवारों को 30 प्रतिशत क्षैतिज आरक्षण दिया था, उसे अब दोबारा लागू कर दिया गया है। बोर्ड बैठक में हुए निर्णय के तहत सभी पदों की भर्तियों में इस आरक्षण का लाभ दिया जाएगा।
