हल्द्वानी के बनभूलपुरा थाने में वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान दो युवकों ने दरोगा से हाथापाई कर दी। दरोगा मनोज यादव ने बताया कि सोमवार की देर रात ताज चौराहे के पास चेकिंग चल रही थी।

उसी समय एक बुलट पर दो युवक बिना हेलमेट आते दिखाई दिए। जब उन्हें रोका गया तो चालक ने खुद को किदवई नगर निवासी अनस बताते हुए उन्हें को धमकाना शुरू कर दिया।

नेम प्लेट खींची फिर की मारपीट
कार्रवाई की बात कहने पर युवकों ने पहले उनकी नेमप्लेट खींची उसके बाद दरोगा से मारपीट शुरू कर दी। वायरलैस की सूचना पर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची तो उन्हें देखकर युवकों ने भागने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन पुलिस ने उन्हें पकड़ लिया।

दरोगा मनोज यादव की ओर से दोनों बाइक सवारों के खिलाफ मारपीट, धमकी देने, सरकारी कार्य में बाधा डालने समेत कई धाराओं में रिपोर्ट दर्ज की गई है।
