रुड़की में सोमवार को पटाखा फैक्टरी में आग लगने से हुए हादसे के बाद पुलिस ने मंगलवार को एक पटाखा गोदाम में छापामारी की। पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि गोदाम में अवैध तरीके से पटाखे रखे हुए हैं।

जिसके बाद पुलिस गंगनहर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के पश्चिमी अंबर तालाब स्थित एक गोदाम पहुंची। पुलिस ने गोदाम से कुछ पुराने पटाखे बरामद किए हैं। कोतवाली प्रभारी ऐश्वर्या पाल ने बताया कि गोदाम से कुछ पुराने और खराब पटाखे बरामद हुए हैं। मामले की जांच की जा रही है।

वहीं, अवैध  पटाखा फैक्टरी के बराबर के एक मकान से भी पुलिस ने भारी मात्रा में पटाखे बरामद किए हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि कारोबारी ने चोरी-छिपे मकान में पटाखे रखे हुए थे। पुलिस पटाखों को लेकर मामले की जांच कर रही है।

चार लोगों की हुई थी मौत

बता दें कि सोमवार सुबह मोहल्ला कानूनगयान स्थित एक पटाखा फैक्टरी में आग लग गई थी। आग में दो नाबालिग सहित चार लोगों की जिंदा जलकर मौत हो गई थी। पुलिस ने इस मामले में कारोबारी और उसके भतीजे के खिलाफ देर रात मुकदमा भी दर्ज कर लिया।

पुलिस ने मंगलवार की सुबह फैक्टरी के आस-पास एक मकान में तलाशी ली तो भारी मात्रा में पटाखे बरामद हुए। बताया जा रहा है कि पुलिस पटाखों को पिकअप में भरकर ले गई। एसपी देहात एसके सिंह ने बताया कि मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
