इमलाख ने फर्जी डिग्रियां मुजफ्फरनगर में अपने ही एक करीबी की प्रिंटिंग प्रेस में छपवाई थीं। इसका पता लगाने के बाद पुलिस ने इसे सील कराने की तैयारी कर ली है। इसके लिए एक टीम को मुजफ्फरनगर के लिए रवाना कर दिया गया है।

फर्जी डॉक्टर बनाने वाले मास्टरमाइंड इमलाख ने सैकड़ों युवाओं को फर्जी डिग्रियां बेची हैं। इनमें केवल उत्तराखंड ही नहीं, बल्कि उत्तर प्रदेश और अन्य राज्यों के भी युवा शामिल हैं। इमलाख मुजफ्फरनगर स्थित अपने कॉलेज से यह धंधा चलाता था। उसकी गिरफ्तारी के बाद पता चला कि उसने यह सारी डिग्रियां और प्रमाणपत्र मुजफ्फरनगर की एक प्रिंटिंग प्रेस में छपवाई हैं। यह प्रेस उसके एक करीबी की है। 

बताया जा रहा है कि यह प्रेस संवेदनशील इलाके में स्थित है। ऐसे में पुलिस ने मुजफ्फरनगर के जिला प्रशासन और पुलिस से भी संपर्क किया है। ताकि, कानून व्यवस्था बरकरार रखते हुए प्रिंटिंग प्रेस को सील किया जा सके।

आईएमसी की उत्तर प्रदेश शाखा को भी लिखा पत्र
एसपी क्राइम सर्वेश पंवार ने बताया कि इमलाख के धंधे की जड़ें उत्तर प्रदेश में ज्यादा फैली हैं। जांच के दौरान कई चौंकाने वाले तथ्य सामने आए हैं। पता चला है कि उत्तर प्रदेश में भी इस तरह के डॉक्टरों का जाल फैला हुआ है। इन डॉक्टरों के भारतीय चिकित्सा परिषद की उत्तर प्रदेश शाखा में पंजीकृत होने की आशंका है। ऐसे में उत्तर प्रदेश शाखा को भी सत्यापन कराने के लिए पुलिस ने पत्र लिखा है।
