देहरादून। लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए हरिद्वार सीट पर चुनाव लड़ने के लिए कांग्रेस की अंदरूनी जंग दिलचस्प होती जा रही है। इस सीट पर पूर्व सीएम हरीश रावत के साथ ही हरक सिंह रावत भी खासे सक्रिय हैं। इस बीच, पूर्व मंत्री शूरवीर सिंह सजवाण ने हरिद्वार सीट पर अपनी दावेदारी जता दी है।

कांग्रेस में अन्य सीटों पर जहां लोकसभा चुनाव को लेकर अभी खास सरगर्मी नहीं दिख रही है, वहीं हरिद्वार में दावेदार खुलेकर सामने आने लगे हैं। पूर्व सीएम हरीश रावत के साथ ही यहां पिछले साल घर वापसी करने वाले हरक सिंह की सक्रियता लगातार बनी हुई है। हालांकि हरीश रावत ने यहां सक्रियता के बावजूद लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ने को लेकर भले ही अधिकारिक तौर पर कुछ नहीं कहा है, लेकिन हरिद्वार से पूवं सांसद होने के नाते उनका दावा अपने आप मजबूत है। पार्टी ने हरिद्वार लोकसभा क्षेत्र में हाथ से हाथ जोड़ो अभियान की कमान उन्हें ही सौंपी है। उधर, हरक सिंह बिते कुछ समय में कई बार हरिद्वार से चुनाव लड़ने की इच्छा जता चुके हैं। हरक सिंह रावत हरिद्वार लोकसभा क्षेत्र में लगातार कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ बैठक और आम लोगों के साथ मुलाकात कर रहे हैं।

इसी बीच, प्रदेश कांग्रेस के पूर्व कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष शूरवीर सिंह सजवाण का नाम भी लोकसभा चुनाव में हरिद्वार से टिकट के दावेदारों में शामिल हो गया है। सजवाण हरिद्वार सीट पर टिहरी विस्थापितों की खासी संख्या होने के साथ ही इस लोकसभा में उन्हें पूर्व में विधायक जिताने वाली ऋषिकेश सीट का होना, अपने हक में मान रहे हैं। वो बीते विधानसभा चुनाव में ऋषिकेश से तैयारी भी कर रहे थे। खास बात ये है कि कांग्रेस ने हाथ जोड़ो अभियान के तहत लोसभावार जो जिम्मेदारियों दी हैं, उसमें सजवाण को टिहरी लोकसभा क्षेत्र का कार्यक्रम संयोजक बनाया गया है। लेकिन चुनाव के लिए उनकी पहली पसंद टिहरी के बजाय हरिद्वार है इसलिए उनकी ज्यादा सक्रियता हरिद्वार सीट पर ही है।

सजवाण ने कहा यूं तो मैं सभी जगह सक्रिय हूं, पर लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए मेरी पहली पसंद हरिद्वार लोकसभा क्षेत्र है। यहां मेंरे पुराने निर्वाचन क्षेत्र की बड़ी आबादी रहती है, मेरा सभी के साथ अच्छा उठना-बैठना है। हालांकि टिकट पर अंतिम निर्णय पार्टी हाईकमान करेगा। मैंने पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव में बतौर कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष पूरी सक्रियता से संगठन के लिए काम किया है। इस पर संगठन विचार जरूर करेगा।
