उत्तराखंड शिक्षा विभाग के कारनामे भी अजीब-ओ-गरीब हैं। विभाग में शिक्षकों की कमी बनी है। इसके बावजूद राज्य के सरकारी स्कूलों के शिक्षक उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार और दिल्ली में प्रतिनियुक्ति पर तैनात हैं।

भराड़ीसैंण में विधानसभा सत्र के दौरान विधायक के सवाल के जवाब में शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धनसिंह रावत ने बताया कि जीआईसी बाडाडांडा पौड़ी में प्रवक्ता डॉ. विनोद कुमार मिश्रा वर्ष 2017 से समग्र शिक्षा अभियान इलाहाबाद उत्तर प्रदेश में समन्वयक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज भीमताल नैनीताल में प्रवक्ता जगन्नाथ प्रसाद पांडे प्रमुख सचिव यूपी के आदेश पर अप्रैल 1998 से आंबेडकर नगर उत्तर प्रदेश में जिला पिछड़ा वर्ग कल्याण अधिकारी के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। जीजीआईसी धारचूला पिथौरागढ़ में सहायक अध्यापिका अंजू धपोला वर्ष 2009 से उत्तराखंड राज्य सूचना केंद्र दिल्ली में अनुवादक के पद पर तैनात हैं।

जीआईसी चौरिया भरदार रुद्रप्रयाग के ओम प्रकाश नौटियाल उत्तराखंड विज्ञान एवं अनुसंधान केंद्र देहरादून में और जीआईसी जाखणीधार टिहरी के सत्यनारायण कटियार समग्र शिक्षा अभियान यूपी में तैनात हैं। जीआईसी जगरौला ऊधमसिंह नगर के संजीव कुमार पांडे उत्तराखंड आयुर्वेद विश्वविद्यालय देहरादून में, देहरादून की सुधा पैन्युली एकलव्य आदर्श विद्यालय कालसी में, जीआईसी जखोल के भीम सिंह नेगी एकलव्य आदर्श विद्यालय कालसी में प्रतिनियुक्त हैं। जीआईसी चौरीखाल पौड़ी के विनोद कुमार यादव वन विकास निगम देहरादून में विशेष कार्याधिकारी के पद पर तैनात हैं।

जीआईसी सिप्टी चंपावत के विनोद कुमार समग्र शिक्षा गोंडा यूपी में जिला समन्वयक के पद पर, जीआईसी बिनौली अल्मोड़ा के प्रवक्ता दीपा जोशी की तैनाती उत्तराखंड अधीनस्थ सेवा चयन आयोग में अनुभाग अधिकारी के पद पर, जीआईसी क्लोगी उत्तरकाशी के प्रवक्ता सुनील कुमार श्रीवास्तव की तैनाती समग्र शिक्षा अभियान अयोध्या यूपी में जिला समन्वयक के पद पर हैं। इनके अलावा, जीआईसी दिउली पौड़ी गढ़वाल में प्रवक्ता संजू प्रसाद ध्यानी संस्कृत शिक्षा निदेशालय में सहायक निदेशक के पद पर, जीआईसी घिंडवाडा पौड़ी में प्रवक्ता रितेश वर्मा नेहरू युवा केंद्र भागलपुर बिहार में जिला समन्वयक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। प्राथमिक विद्यालय खेडी शिकोहपुर में तैनात शिक्षक सुशील प्रसाद साहसिक खेल अधिकारी उत्तराखंड पर्यटन विकास परिषद गढ़ी कैंट में कार्यरत हैं। 

प्रदेश में प्रवक्ताओं की है भारी कमी
प्रदेश में शिक्षकों की भारी कमी बनी है। प्रवक्ताओं के चार हजार से अधिक पद खाली हैं। इसके अलावा सहायक अध्यापक एलटी एवं प्राथमिक में सहायक अध्यापकों के भी कई पद खाली हैं।

प्रदेश के हर इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज में एक योग शिक्षक की होगी तैनाती
प्रदेश के हर इंटरमीडिएट कालेज में आउटसोर्स के माध्यम से एक योग शिक्षक की तैनाती की जाएगी। विधानसभा में अतारांकित सवाल के जवाब में शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धनसिंह रावत की ओर से इसकी जानकारी दी गई है। विधायक विक्रम सिंह नेगी की ओर से पूछ गए सवाल में जवाब में विभागीय मंत्री ने कहा योग प्रशिक्षकों के पद अब तक स्वीकृत नहीं हैं। आउटसोर्स के माध्यम से उनकी तैनाती की कार्यवाही चल रही है।
