उत्तराखंड के राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ियों को आउट ऑफ टर्न नियुक्ति के लिए कार्मिक विभाग की मंजूरी मिल गई है। इससे उनकी सरकारी नौकरी का रास्ता जल्द साफ हो सकता है। खेल विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक अजय कुमार अग्रवाल के मुताबिक, 2,000 ग्रेड पे से लेकर 5,400 ग्रेड पे तक की नौकरी का प्रस्ताव है। कार्मिकी की मंजूरी के बाद इसे वित्त विभाग को भेजा गया है। जल्द इसका जीओ जारी हो जाएगा। प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर शानदार प्रदर्शन कर न सिर्फ प्रदेश का, बल्कि देश का नाम रोशन किया है।

राज्य के इन खिलाड़ियों के लिए पहले सरकारी नौकरी में चार प्रतिशत क्षैतिज आरक्षण की व्यवस्था थी, लेकिन वर्ष 2013 में उच्च न्यायालय नैनीताल ने इस व्यवस्था को खत्म कर दिया था। इसके बाद से कई खिलाड़ी नौकरी के लिए अन्य राज्यों से खेलने लगे, लेकिन अब उत्तराखंड के खिलाड़ियों के लिए सरकारी नौकरी की व्यवस्था के लिए आउट ऑफ टर्न नियुक्ति का रास्ता खुलने जा रहा है।

खेल विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक अजय कुमार अग्रवाल का कहना है, 2,000 ग्रेड पे से लेकर 5,400 ग्रेड पे तक की नौकरी के लिए पुलिस, खेल, युवा कल्याण, शिक्षा, वन विभाग सहित कुल 11 विभाग चिन्हित किए गए हैं। इस संबंध में जीओ होने के बाद खिलाड़ी जिस स्तर का पदक जीतते हैं, उन्हें उस स्तर की सरकारी नौकरी का पद मिलेगा।

राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिभागी खिलाड़ी को 2,000 ग्रेड पे पर पुलिस कांस्टेबल, वन रक्षक आदि के पद पर सरकारी नौकरी मिलेगी, जबकि ओलंपिक एवं इस स्तर की अन्य प्रतियोगिताओं में मेडल जीतने पर 5,400 ग्रेड पे तक की सरकारी नौकरी मिल सकेगी। ओलंपिक एवं इस स्तर की प्रतियोगिता में मेडल लाने वाले खिलाड़ी पुलिस में पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी एवं खेल विभाग में सहायक निदेशक बन सकेंगे।

राष्ट्रीय से लेकर अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर तक के खिलाड़ियों को आउट ऑफ टर्न नियुक्ति के प्रस्ताव को वित्त विभाग से मंजूरी मिली तो लगभग 150 खिलाड़ियों को लाभ मिल सकेगा। प्रस्ताव पिछले पांच साल में पदक विजेता खिलाड़ियों को लाभान्वित करने का है।
