हल्द्वानी। हल्द्वानी डिपो में यात्रियों की भीड़ बढ़ने पर परिवहन निगम ने रविवार को अतिरिक्त बसों संचालन किया। परिवहन निगम को अनुमान है कि आने वाले दिनों में भी यात्रियों की संख्या और बढ़ेगी।

सुबह से ही बस अड्डे पर दिल्ली जाने वाले यात्रियों की भीड़ रही। सामान्य तौर पर हल्द्वानी बस अड्डे से दिल्ली के लिए 12 बसों का संचालन किया जाता है। यात्रियों की भीड़ बढ़ने के बाद तीन अतिरिक्त बसों को दिल्ली भेजा गया।

इनके अलावा नैनीताल आने-जाने वाले यात्रियों की भी अच्छी भीड़ रही। हल्द्वानी डिपो से सूचना मिली कि नवरात्रि के दिनों में पूर्णागिरि के लिए यात्रियों की भीड़ बढ़ सकती है। साथ ही एक अप्रैल से पर्यटन सीजन भी शुरू होगा। एआरएम सुरेंद्र सिंह बिष्ट ने बताया कि यात्री बढ़े तो बसों के फेरे बढ़ाए जाएंगे।

घायल चालक की स्थिति सही
हल्द्वानी। अफजलगढ़ के पास शनिवार को हल्द्वानी डिपो की एक बस गन्ने के ट्राॅली से टकरा गई थी। दुर्घटना में यात्रियों के साथ ही चालक भी घायल हो गया था। एआरएम सुरेंद्र सिंह बिष्ट ने बताया कि चालक की स्थिति अब ठीक है। बताया कि मामले की सूचना उच्चस्तर पर दी जा चुकी है।
