विकासनगर: कोतवाली अंतर्गत नगर के उप जिला चिकित्सालय में एक मां शौचालय में नवजात को जन्म देकर फरार हो गई। सफाई कर्मी ने जब शौचालय में नवजात को देखा तो अस्पताल के चिकित्सकों को सूचना दी। चिकित्सकों ने नवजात का उपचार किया और प्रेमनगर क्षेत्र के एक नर्सिंग होम में भर्ती कराया।

शौचालय में मिला नवजात
इस संबंध में उप जिला चिकित्सालय विकासनगर के मुख्य चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डा. विजय सिंह ने बताया कि बुधवार सुबह करीब सात बजे सफाई कर्मी ने शौचालय में नवजात के पड़े होने की सूचना दी। लेकिन जन्म देने वाली मां कहीं नहीं मिली। नवजात की तबियत खराब थी, लिहाजा उसका उपचार किया गया और उसे प्रेमनगर के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।

नवजात को शौचालय में छोड़ युवती फरार
सूचना पर बाजार चौकी प्रभारी किशन देवरानी मय पुलिस बल के मौके पर पहुंचे। अस्पताल प्रशासन से पूरे घटनाक्रम की जानकारी ली और अस्पताल के सीसीटीवी खंगाले। जिसमें एक युवती युवक के साथ अस्पताल से बाहर की ओर जाते हुए दिखाई दे रहे हैं।

चिकित्सक कर रहे नवजात का उपचार
अस्पताल प्रशासन ने बताया कि 23 वर्षीय युवती जिला उप चिकित्सालय पहुंची, अपना पंजीकरण कराया। उसके बाद वह भर्ती न होकर अस्पताल में बने शौचालय में चली गई और नवजात को जन्म देकर फरार हो गई। वहीं, नवजात का उपचार चिकित्सकों ने किया।
