देहरादून: मेक डोनॉल्ड की फ्रेंचाइजी दिलाने के नाम पर लाखों रुपए की ठगी करने वाले बिहार के एक गैंग को उत्तराखंड पुलिस की एसटीएफ ने गिरफ्तार किया है। एसटीएफ के एसएसपी आयुष अग्रवाल ने बताया कि ऋषिकेश निवासी प्रशांत ने जनवरी माह में शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी कि अज्ञात व्यक्ति ने मेक डोनॉल्ट फ्रैंचाइजी दिलाने के नाम उनसे 35 लाख हड़प लिए हैं।

जिन खातों में धनराशि गई है उनकी जांच की गई तो वह बिहार के पाए गए। आरोपितों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए बिहार टीम भेजी गई तो आरोपित सनी कुमार वर्मा, सूरज कुमार दोनों निवासी न्यू कॉलोनी, थाना मालसलामी पटना बिहार, सनी कुमार निवासी गुल मैया चौक सबलपुर थाना नदी मोजीपुर पटना बिहार और चंदन कुमार उर्फ विकास निवासी जमुनापुर चाई टोली पटना बिहार के रूप में हुई है।

आरोपियों से बरामद सिम कार्ड कि जब जांच कराई गई तो पता चला कि उनके खिलाफ देशभर में 100 से अधिक शिकायते हैं। इनमे से 14 मुकदमे तेलांगना, एक आंध्र प्रदेश व बाकी अन्य राज्यों में हैं।
