देहरादून: पहाड़ों की रानी मसूरी अपने नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य के साथ ही अब गुफा पर्यटन के लिए भी जानी जाएगी। जल्द ही यहां पर्यटकों को पर्वतारोहण के साथ गुफा पर्यटन का रोमांच भी मिलेगा।

आइटीबीपी के पर्वतारोहण दल की ओर से खोजी गई एक प्राचीन गुफा को पर्यटन के रूप में विकसित करने को प्रयास शुरू हो गए हैं। पर्यटन विभाग जल्द इसका सर्वे और परीक्षण करने जा रहा है और शासन को प्रस्ताव भेज इसे विकसित करने को संसाधन जुटाएगा।

किंक्रेग की पहाड़ी पर मिली गुफा
मसूरी से दो किलोमीटर पहले स्थित किंक्रेग की पहाड़ी पर आइटीबीपी के पर्वतारोहण दल की ओर से प्राचीन गुफा की खोज की गई है। 90 मीटर गहरी इस गुफा ने मसूरी में एक और पर्यटन की संभावना पैदा कर दी हैं।

गुफा में जाने के लिए पहाड़ी पर ट्रेकिंग करनी पड़ती है और अंदर जाने पर धीरे-धीरे गुफा की ऊंचाई घटती जाती है। हालांकि, फिलहाल गुफा के मुहाने पर काफी मलबा है, लेकिन इसे साफ करने के साथ प्रकाश की उचित व्यवस्था की जा रही है। इसके बाद यह गुफा साहसिक पर्यटन के लिए तैयार हो जाएगी।

गुफाएं पर्यटकों के आकर्षण का केंद्र
पिछले साल प्रदेश सरकार ने उत्तराखंड में गुफा पर्यटन की संभावनाएं तलाशने की बात कही थी। वर्तमान में भी कई गुफाएं पर्यटकों के आकर्षण का केंद्र हैं। वैसे तो मसूरी उत्तराखंड का एक प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल है, लेकिन प्राचीन गुफा ने यहां आने वाले देश-विदेश के पर्यटकों को नया अनुभव देने और सरकार के राजस्व में इजाफा करने की उम्मीद जगाई है।

मसूरी में प्रत्येक वर्ष हजारों की संख्या में पर्यटक आते हैं। देश के कोने-कोने से आने वाले पर्यटक अभी मसूरी में गर्मियों के मौसम और सर्दियों में बर्फबारी लुत्फ उठाने ही आते हैं। चारों ओर से पहाड़ियों से घिरे मसूरी ट्रेकिंग के भी कई स्थल पूर्व से विकसित हैं, लेकिन गुफा पर्यटन मसूरी के नाम के साथ पहली बार जुड़ने जा रहा है।

गुफा को पर्यटन के रूप में विकसित करने के लिए प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। गुफा का सर्वेक्षण और परीक्षण कराने को जल्द ही टीम भेजी जाएगी। यह किसकी भूमि पर स्थित है यह पता लगाया जा रहा है। यदि वन विभाग के क्षेत्र में यह गुफा है तो इस संबंध में पत्राचार किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा यहां सुविधाएं विकसित करने के लिए शासन को प्रस्ताव भेजा जाएगा। यह गुफा प्रदेश के प्रमुख पर्यटक स्थलों में शामिल हो सकता है।- योगेंद्र गंगवार, उप निदेशक, उत्तराखंड पर्यटन विकास परिषद
