सुरक्षित जोशीमठ का संदेश देने के लिए आयोजित दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय स्तर की औली मैराथन के अंतिम दिन हुई 46 किमी की स्काई अल्ट्रा रेस में विजय सिंह ने प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया। उन्होंने यह दौड़ 3 घंटे 46 मिनट में पूरी की। दो दिनों तक चली मैराथम में रविग्राम ओवरऑल चैंपियन रहा। रविवार को संपन्न हुए समारोह में सभी विजेता खिलाड़ियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया।

स्की माउंटेनियरिंग एसोसिएशन की ओर से आयोजित औली मैराथन के तहत रविवार को अल्ट्रा रेस का आयोजन किया गया। 46 किमी की यह रेस हनुमान चट्टी से शुरू होकर औली हेलीपैड पर संपन्न हुई। विजय सिंह ने 3 घंटे 46 मिनट में इस दौड़ को पूरा करते हुए प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया। दूसरे नंबर पर रहे पंकज सिंह ने 3 घंटे 59 मिनट और तीसरे नंबर पर रहे रविंद्र सिंह ने 4 घंटे पांच सेकेंड में दौड़ पूरी की। इसके अलावा चौथे नंबर पर अजय नेगी और पांचवें नंबर पर कमलेश रावत रहे। दौड़ सुबह 8:18 बजे शुरू हुई।

इसके अलावा शनिवार को हुई फन रेस के परिणाम रविवार को घोषित किए गए। इस रेस के महिला वर्ग में पूजा डिमरी, शिवानी भट्ट, रंजना डिमरी, बालिका वर्ग (12-15 साल) में टेमी, दिव्या राणा, तनिशा जबकि बालक वर्ग में रितुल परिहार, अमन ठाकुर और आदित्य क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। 50 साल से अधिक आयु के पुरुष वर्ग की छह किमी दौड़ में मुकेश राणा प्रथम, नरेंद्र सिंह द्वितीय और प्रदीप डिमरी तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। रविवार शाम को एक निजी होटल में हुए कार्यक्रम में लक्ष्मण सिंह मेहता, रणवीर सिंह नेगी, आईटीबीपी औली से नानक चंद्र, अनघा मालेकर, दिनेश भट्ट, स्की माउंटेनियरिंग एसोसिएशन उत्तराखंड के अध्यक्ष अजय भट्ट सहित अन्य लोगों ने विजेता प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कृत किया।
