उत्तराखंड के करीब 15 हजार पुलिसकर्मियों को मिलने वाली एरियर की तीसरी किस्त पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने रोक लगा दी है। इससे पहले पुलिसकर्मी इसी एरियर की दो किस्त ले चुके हैं। लिहाजा, अब पुलिसकर्मियों को रिकवरी का भी डर सता रहा है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के इस फैसले की एडीजी लॉ एंड ऑर्डर वी मुरुगेशन ने पुष्टि की है।

बता दें कि छठे वेतनमान की सिफारिशों के तहत उच्चीकृत वेतन ग्रेड पे को लेकर राज्य के हजारों पुलिसकर्मियों को वर्ष 2006 से एरियर दिए जाने का निर्णय लिया गया था। इसे राज्य सरकार की तरफ से तीन किस्तों में दिया जाना था। सरकार दो किस्तों में पुलिसकर्मियों को कुल 40 करोड़ रुपये दे भी चुकी है। जबकि, तीसरी किस्त दी जानी थी।

राज्य सरकार ने दाखिल की थी एसएलपी

इस मामले में नैनीताल हाईकोर्ट ने पुलिसकर्मियों को तीन किस्त में एरियर देने के आदेश दिए थे। लेकिन, राज्य सरकार ने इस फैसले के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट में एसएलपी दायर की थी। अब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस मामले में रोक लगा दी।

एरियर का लाभ पाने वालों में कांस्टेबल, हेड कांस्टेबल और एएसआई स्तर के कर्मचारी शामिल हैं। एरियर के रूप में कुल 70 करोड़ रुपये का भार राज्य सरकार पर पड़ रहा है। इसी के चलते सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका लगाई थी।

हो सकती है रिकवरी

खास बात यह है कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट की तरफ से यदि इस मामले में सरकार के पक्ष में फैसला आता है तो अब तक दिए गए एरियर की रिकवरी भी पुलिसकर्मियों से हो सकती है। हालांकि, अभी ऐसी कोई स्थिति नजर नहीं आ रही है।

बता दें कि राज्य में पुलिस विभाग के सिपाहियों को वर्ष 2008 में छठे वेतनमान का लाभ दिया गया था। इसके बाद वर्ष 2011 में कांस्टेबल और हेड कांस्टेबल का ग्रेड पे बढ़ गया था। इस स्थिति के चलते रिवाइज ग्रेड के आधार पर 2006 से एरियर देने की मांग की गई थी।
