देहरादून, एएनआइ। देश की सीमाएं इसलिए सुरक्षित हैं क्‍योंकि हमारे वीर जवान दिन रात, आंधी तूफान, बारिश और बर्फबारी के बीच सीमाओं की निगेहबानी कर रहे हैं। परिस्थितियां कैसी भी हों वे सीमाओं की चौकसी कर रहे हैं। भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आइटीबीपी) के वीर जवान उत्‍तराखंड हिमालय में चीन से लगी सीमा की रक्षा कर रहे हैं। वे शून्‍य से नीचे तापमान में उत्तराखंड हिमालय के 15 हजार फीट की ऊंचाई वाले बर्फीले इलाके में गश्‍त कर रहे हैं।

शून्‍य से नीचे तापमान में दी जाती है ट्रेनिंग

बता दें कि भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आईटीबीपी) के जवान अत्यधिक ठंड की स्थिति में उत्तराखंड के सीमावर्ती स्थान पर शून्य से 25 डिग्री सेल्सियस कम तापमान पर प्रशिक्षित किया जाता है, जो एक नियमित अभ्यास है। इसका एक वी‍डियो आया था। जिसमें आइटीबीपी के जवान बर्फ के बीच शून्‍य से नीचे तापमान में ट्रेनिंग ले रहे थे। वीडियो में कर्मियों को आधुनिक हथियार पकड़े हुए हैं और शारीरिक अभ्यास करते हुए दिखाया गया है।

वर्ष 1962 में की गई आइटीबीपी की स्‍थापना

बता दें कि आइटीबीपी की स्‍थापना वर्ष 1962 में की गई। आइटीबीपी मुख्य रूप से 18,800 फीट तक की ऊंचाई पर स्थित बीओपीएस पर हिमालय में 3,488 किलोमीटर लंबी भारतीय सीमा की रक्षा करती है। सीमा सुरक्षा के अलावा, आइटीबीपी को नक्सल विरोधी अभियानों और अन्य आंतरिक सुरक्षा कर्तव्यों के लिए भी तैनात किया जाता है।

मसूरी में स्थित है आइटीबीपी अकादमी

बता दें कि देहरादून जनपद के मसूरी में आइटीबीपी अकादमी स्थित है। आइटीबीपी अकादमी की स्थापना वर्ष 1978 में हुई थी। इस अकादमी में सहायक कमांडेंट के रैंक के अधिकारी सीधे भर्ती होते हैं। इन अधिकारियों को प्रारंभिक प्रशिक्षण देने के अलावा, अकादमी ने उग्रवाद विरोधी अभियानों, राक क्लाइम्बिंग, वीआईपी सुरक्षा आदि की ट्रेनिंग दी जाती है।
