रुद्रपुर। ऊर्जा निगम की तरफ से ओवरलैपिग को लेकर कलक्ट्रेट में हरे पेड़ों के काटे जाने के मामले में वन विभाग के एसडीओ ने गंभीर रुख अपनाया है। उन्होंने मामले की जांच वन रेंजर पंकज शर्मा को देकर रिपोर्ट तलब की है। कलक्ट्रेट में सीएमओ कार्यालय व उसके आगे पूर्व सैनिक कल्याण एवं पुनर्वास केंद्र के सामने रविवार को लाइनमैन के सामने ही बड़ी संख्या में हरे पेड़ जड़ से काट दिए गए। वहीं पीपल व शीशम के पेड़ों पर भी आरी चल गई।

एसडीओ ध्रुव मर्तोलिया ने बताया कि कि हरे पेड़ों को काटे जाने को लेकर ऊर्जा निगम के साथ बैठक में तय किया गया था कि कोई ऐसा पेड़ नहीं काटा जाएगा जो पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हो। यदि ठेकेदार की तरफ से नियमों को ताक पर रखकर पीपल व शीशम के पेड़ काटे गए हैं तो यह कार्रवाई के दायरे में आता है। जब पूरा देश कोरोना संक्रमण के बाद ऑक्सीजन के लिए जूझता नजर आया। ऐसे में आक्सीजन का प्रचुर भंडार समझे जाने वाले पीपल के पेड़ों को काटा जाना अफसोसजनक है। इसके लिए वन रेंजर पंकज शर्मा को मामले की जांच किए जाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। रेंजर पंकज शर्मा ने कहा कि जिन बिदुओं पर ऊर्जा निगम के अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की गई थी। उसे देखा जा रहा है। हाईटेंशन तारों को पेड़ की टहनियों से कोई नुकसान न हो इसके लिए काटे जाने की अनुमति मांगी गई थी। इसमें किन-किन व किस वर्ग के हरे पेड़ काटे गए हैं इसकी सूची मौके पर जाकर बनाई जाएगी। साथ ही संबंधित ठेकेदार व उसके कर्मचारियों से भी पूछताछ की जाएगी। जो दोषी होंगे उन पर कार्रवाई होगी।
