गर्मी का सीजन शुरू होने के साथ ही जहां देहरादून से यूपी, बिहार, झारखंड और पश्चिम बंगाल जाने वाली ट्रेनों में सीटों को लेकर जबरदस्त मारामारी है, वहीं रेलवे बोर्ड की ओर से देहरादून-हावड़ा उपासना एक्सप्रेस का संचालन शनिवार को फिलहाल रद्द कर दिया गया है।

रेलवे अधिकारियों के मुताबिक पिछले कई दिनों से उपासना एक्सप्रेस के संचालन में छह से सात घंटे की देरी होने की वजह से ट्रेन के शेड्यूलिंग में दिक्कतें आ रही थीं, जिसके चलते आला अधिकारियों के निर्देश पर फिलहाल ट्रेन का संचालन एक दिन के लिए रोक दिया गया है।

स्टेशन अधीक्षक शशांक शर्मा ने बताया कि हावड़ा-देहरादून उपासना एक्सप्रेस शनिवार को देहरादून नहीं आएगी, ऐसे में देहरादून से हावड़ा के लिए उसके संचालन पर रोक लगा दी गई है। दूसरी ओर हावड़ा-देहरादून उपासना एक्सप्रेस का संचालन रद्द होने से यात्रियों की मुसीबतें बढ़ गई हैं। रेलवे बोर्ड की ओर से यात्रियों को ट्रेन के रद्द होने की जानकारी एसएमएस के जरिए दी जा रही है।

यात्रियों ने अपना आरक्षण भी रद्द कराया

शुक्रवार को बड़ी संख्या में यात्रियों ने अपना आरक्षण भी रद्द कराया। दूसरी ओर मुख्य वाणिज्य निरीक्षक एसके अग्रवाल ने बताया कि ट्रेन का संचालन रद्द कर दिया गया है। ऐसे यात्री जिन्होंने उपासना एक्सप्रेस के जरिए अपना आरक्षण कराया है, उनको किराये का पूरा रिफंड किया जाएगा।
