उत्तराखंड में इस बार मानसून पहुंचने में कुछ दिनों की देरी हो सकती है। प्रदेश में सामान्य तौर से मानसून आने का समय 20 से 22 जून तक है। मौसम विभाग ने 20 जून तक राज्य के अनेक जिलों में पश्चिमी विछोभ के असर से बारिश का पूर्वानुमान लगाया है। इसके बाद अगले दो तीन दिन मौसम शुष्क रह सकता है।

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार 24 से दोबारा बारिश का सिलसिला बनने की संभावना है। राज्य में पिछली बार मानसून 13 जून को घोषित हो गया था, जो सामान्य से सात से आठ दिन पहले आ गया था। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार उत्तरी अरब सागर, गुजरात मध्य के कुछ और हिस्सों में मानसून के आगे बढ़ने के लिए परिस्थितियां अनुकुल हैं।

मध्य प्रदेश विदर्भ के शेष भाग, आंध्र प्रदेश, पश्चिम मध्य और उत्तर पश्चिम बंगाल की खाड़ी के कुछ हिस्से, छत्तीसगढ़, ओडिशा, गंगीय पश्चिम बंगाल के कुछ हिस्से, झारखंड, उप हिमालयी पश्चिम बंगाल और पूर्वी यूपी के कुछ हिस्सों में अगले दो से तीन दिन तक मानसून पहुंचने की संभावना है।

दक्षिण पश्चिम मानसून गुरुवार को मराठवाड़ा, दक्षिण मध्य प्रदेश, विदर्भ के अधिकांश हिस्से, पूरे तेलंगाना, दक्षिण छत्तीसगढ़, ओडिशा सहित तटीय आंध्र प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों में पहुंच गया है।  मौसम निदेशक बिक्रम सिंह के अनुसार मानसून की स्थिति पर लगातार निगरानी रखी जा रही है। इस समय प्री मानसूनी बारिश चल रही है। पिछली बार दक्षिण पश्चिम मानसून प्रदेश में 98 प्रतिशत के साथ सामान्य रहा था।

तीन जून को केरल में मानसून अपनी आगमन की सामान्य तिथि के दो दिन बाद आया था और 13 जून को उत्तराखंड में मानसून की घोषणा हुई थी। जबकि, इस साल केरल में मानसून 29 मई को आया है। इसके बावजूद राज्य में नियत समय तक भी मानसून पहुंचने की संभावना कम है। लोगों को मानसून के लिए इंतजार करना पड़ेगा।
