देहरादून। नौकरियों में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ कांग्रेस ने कचहरी स्थित शहीद स्थल पर धरना दिया। तेज बारिश के बीच पूर्व अध्यक्ष गणेश गोदियाल के साथ कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ता भीगते हुए करीब दो घंटे तक शहीद स्थल के बाहर फर्श पर बैठे रहे।

इस मौके पर कांग्रेस नेताओं ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड का गठन इसलिए नहीं हुआ था कि बेरोजगारों के साथ विश्वासघात किया जाय। भाजपा की सरकार में खुले आम नौकरियां बेची जा रही हैं। दो घंटे के मौन उपवास से पहले गोदियाल ने मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि प्रदेश में अब तक की सभी भर्तियों की जांच होना जरूरी है। दोषी चाहे कोई भी हो, उसके खिलाफ कड़ी से कड़ी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। कांग्रेस इसके लिए अपना संघर्ष लगातार जारी रखेगी।

इस मौके पर पूर्व विधायक राजकुमार, पंकज क्षेत्री, याकूब सिद्दीकी, पूरन सिंह रावत, संजय किशोर, त्रिलोक सजवान, राजेश चमोली आदि मौजूद रहे।
